I don't know about this season. Not my call. I don't think anyone will argue that private schools don't have district lines. But if a school has open enrollment and reciprical agreements with all it's neighbors then what is the difference?

On senior night RH won by 30+.

I don't know how much he started but I know he started when Ashland visited Rose Hill. The first game I saw Ashland play they started Thomas, Coleman, Rowe, Adams, and Bonner. By my count 4 of them are no longer there. Zonebuster left out that Rose Hill beat Ashland by a combined 52 points in their 3 meetings. Doesn't mean a whole lot but to just mention the last game is misleading. Using the returning/not returning player analogy then Fairview should be the favorite. Their only loss was Hall. For the record I never picked Rose Hill I simply said they would be a factor in the district and I believe Spindoc is a Russell fan if not he may be in trouble with his wife and son. I personally think the district is a toss up.

Lots of losses but still plenty left. There at still several quality athletes in the program that will have their opprotunity to shine and I think/hope they will.

I think the rumors mills have been over active. RH could be a major factor in the 64th district.

Not if you add the other sex to the equation. Plus Ryan is a good basketball player in addition to being a good football player.

I didn't take it the wrong way just that John has done has paid his dues and deserves this opprotunity.

Nothing was given to anyone, I think he's earned it. No one have put in more time, sweet, and blood into the Rose Hill program than John.

With open enrollment it is the same as everyone else. The whole world is the 16th regions district. If you don't believe it just exam everyones rosters. In an attempt to inform the uninformed it doesn't matter where you move if it is for athletic purposes. From what I understand Adams wasn't going to play this year regardless of whether he stayed at Ashland or left.

I don't know how many yards Carter ended up with but he didn't touch the ball in the first quarter. Why was he on the sideline so long? I agree about Bonner. The question is "how do you get him the ball"

I agree that everyone needs to stick with their teams but jumping off the wagon isn't anything new or isolated to Ashland fans. With that said I think the frustration is a carry over from last year and losing 3 straight to Raceland.

Knew the situation going in, was told to expect 17 to 20 kids and there were 16. I was at their practice last night and there were 14 kids there with 2 missing that left after he quit. Sorry but to accept a position and quite right when practice was getting ready to begin, regardless of circumstance is inexcusable. Even for a legend. This is my final comment on the situation but I don't believe in walking away from a commitment.

A couple of items. First, Rose Hill lost all 5 starters not 3 as indicated by Spindoc. Davis also transfered and Arthur graduated. Plus throw in Quackenbush and that is 6 players lost out of their top 10. If they even get close to winning the district it is time to proclaim the Rose Hill program the most resilant in history. Secondly, I was told that Morgan was not playing this year. I have no idea if this is true but that is what I was told by a loyal supporter of the program.

I think that FreeAtLast has been alittle over zealous. I think Rose Hill will be able to compete in most if not all of their games. I think Mike Terry, Ryan Whetsel, Corey Gregg and Kyle Bush will be solid contributors this season as freshman and will have well above average high school careers but let's not get the cart before the horse.

You were told wrong and I never said the process of accepting applications had ended. If those two applied they would be interviewed. Things are moving along.
