  1. Do you know anyone who attends a school out of the district they live in?
  2. With open enrollment it is the same as everyone else. The whole world is the 16th regions district. If you don't believe it just exam everyones rosters. In an attempt to inform the uninformed it doesn't matter where you move if it is for athletic purposes. From what I understand Adams wasn't going to play this year regardless of whether he stayed at Ashland or left.
  3. If he isn't then why have the discussion. I mean I convienced. He doesn't openly pray 5 times a day, he doesn't carry a rug with him everywhere he goes and he decorates a tree every December.
  4. I'm not questioning anyone's faith. I'm saying that the logic used to prove his Christianity in an earlier post is flawed. Obama supporters acted like his past and current affiliations should be ignored and that just isn't realistic.
  5. I disagree. If he were Muslim, notice I said if, then it would be very relevant. Apparently the left agrees with me because they get up in arms everytime it is brought up.
  6. I have not read any chain emails but I believe every true Christian is born again. No if, and, or buts. So what's your point.
  7. If you noticed Westsider said his dad was raised in a Catholic church but he did not say if his father was Catholic.
  8. If they hunt Easter eggs I suppose. I think it is difficult unless you hear their own conversion experience. I would like to hear both canidates describe what it means to be "saved". Obama may very well be a born again Christian. I'm not saying he is or isn't but I can't just say "oh he celebrates Christmas or he goes to church" and just assume he is a Christian. The church he attended and the man who served as his pastor raises a few eyebrows. That may not be popular amoung dems but it is how it is.
  9. And I bet you have never said "My Catholic faith". Not even by accident. You have to admit he is alot more connected to the Muslim faith than your typical Bible believing Christian, don't you?
  10. Not trying to be disrespectful at all. I'm not saying you are stupid, far from it. I just feel your arguement is stupid.
  11. Nor does having your daughters baptised, going to a radical church, or exchanging presents on December the 25th make you a Christian. Obama's only link to Christianity is Reverend Wright and his church which Obama attended for 20 years. Like I said I don't know what he is other than a great public speaker.
  12. C'mon guys to say a guy is a Christian because he celebrates Christmas is idiotic regardless of whether you are democrat or republican. Obama is well schooled in the Muslim faith. As a matter of fact he is more well schooled in the Muslim faith than some of you are on Christianity. Having his daughters baptised or sitting in a church pew doesn't make you a Christian. Not praying 5 times a day and not going to a Mosque doesn't mean you don't believe what Muslims believe. I don't know whether Obama is Muslim or Christian and really don't care but to try and justify it with those arguements is stupid.
  13. Because he like pine trees! Really that is hardly evidence of someones Christianity. Obama has a past that has many ties to the Muslim faith.
  14. Just a reminder B.H. Obama is not running against Palin. Why does the left continue to compare their canidate to Palin? In my lifetime I have never seen a VP canidate cause this much of a stir. I guess McCain made a great choice if it worries you guys this much.
  15. I believe Skaggs is the varsity punter.
  16. Should be interesting to see what Petrino does at Arkansas. If I lived in Little Rock I would equip my car with Lowjack.
  17. How the worm has turned. Are UL fans ready to admit that Petrino was a total thug? He left Louisville in complete shambles.
  18. I don't know how many yards Carter ended up with but he didn't touch the ball in the first quarter. Why was he on the sideline so long? I agree about Bonner. The question is "how do you get him the ball"
  19. I agree that everyone needs to stick with their teams but jumping off the wagon isn't anything new or isolated to Ashland fans. With that said I think the frustration is a carry over from last year and losing 3 straight to Raceland.
  20. Knew the situation going in, was told to expect 17 to 20 kids and there were 16. I was at their practice last night and there were 14 kids there with 2 missing that left after he quit. Sorry but to accept a position and quite right when practice was getting ready to begin, regardless of circumstance is inexcusable. Even for a legend. This is my final comment on the situation but I don't believe in walking away from a commitment.
  21. A couple of items. First, Rose Hill lost all 5 starters not 3 as indicated by Spindoc. Davis also transfered and Arthur graduated. Plus throw in Quackenbush and that is 6 players lost out of their top 10. If they even get close to winning the district it is time to proclaim the Rose Hill program the most resilant in history. Secondly, I was told that Morgan was not playing this year. I have no idea if this is true but that is what I was told by a loyal supporter of the program.
  22. I have nothing to say on the subject just wanted to see if my new avatar worked.
