  1. Highlands may put a running clock on the Knights from Lex Cath.
  2. Male gets a win and tries to forget those two scrimmages.
  3. Depth and special teams seem to the difference when Central plays the 6A schools. Will be competitive but Manual will wear the Yellowjackets down in the second half. Manual - 27 Central - 7
  4. Close early, but Trinity will be too good late… Trinity 24-7
  5. Douglass’ offense didn't look very good against X so I think BG wins 31-17.
  6. One of the biggest takes aways for me was at the LOS. St. X's DL seemed to control the trenches, and I know the X OL was an area of concern, but they seemed to have a decent night, or at least they were able to hold up well enough to get some positive running plays.
  7. FD has a lot of D1 talent…it will be interesting to see how the Tigers match up with all that talent this year.
  8. After reading about some of the first scrimmages, 6A could be wide open. We’ll see how teams adjust during their second scrimmage.
  9. They will obviously be better than what they were today, but seems odd to make such a claim after a 3-0 performance.
  10. What did Male's QB situation look like? Did Harris play QB the entire varsity portion?
  11. Big kid, but has struggled to stay healthy. If he stays healthy could be a good summer addition for the Bulldogs, but jury is still out I would think.
  12. That has to be the biggest question mark in Louisville right now, who will that person be? I wouldn't be surprised if Harris becomes the main QB by mid-season.
  13. Another 7on7 at St. X tonight so another opportunity for the two QBs to show what they got heading into the season and battle for the QB1 spot.
  14. I’d go with: 1) Trinity 2) Fredrick Douglass 3) St. X 4) Manual 5) Male
  15. Not sure. Mason and Thomas split reps last Thursday during the 7on7. Depth chart will probably start to take shape over the next couple of weeks as shoulder pads are added.
  16. 7 on 7 action tonight at St. X. There will be about 7 or 8 other teams participating as well.
  17. Coach Mandeville has a lot of energy and I think a key factor to a lot of jobs is he wants to be there. Look forward to see what Coach Mandeville and the Doss Dragons can achieve this season.

I don’t think I realized Flaget was a Xavierian sponsored school until, which is why there is a part of the school building at St. X dedicated to Flaget, which always puzzled me…why dedicate a part of your school to one of your biggest rivals; now it makes sense.
  19. In the last week he has been offered by Purdue and Wake Forest.
  20. Tigers were able to keep it close after a rough start, just could never get into a grove with the bats. I think St. X coach mentioned this in post game, Tiger batters didn’t seem to be very aggressive against a very good pitcher; a lot of watching pitches. But Trinity took care of business against the Tigers which has been a common theme this athletic year.
  21. I have a feeling once he hits a couple of camps this summer his recruitment will start to pick up.
  22. He has the potential to be a really good one at the QB position for the Tigers.
  23. Tigers will conclude spring practice with a scrimmage this afternoon.
  24. Have heard there are some good players in their incoming 9th grade class too.
