  1. Tigers OL got dominated last night and the Tiger DL was inconsistent in their push. Winning touchdown was run at Tigers best defensive player… that’s tough.
  2. Manual has some interesting scores, so I could see this one going a few different ways. Manual will be ready for the Tigers and St. X will be wanting to make sure the Crimsons don't celebrate on their home field.
  3. Good win for the Tigers. Looked like they were in firm control then Ryle’s offense found ways to convert multiple 3rd and 4th downs. Tigers’ offense looked really good once they settled in, defense did a good job of making the Ryle QB uncomfortable but he was tough and found ways to consistently make plays to keep the ball away from St. X.
  4. I’ll go with Male and the explosive play component of their offense Male - 27 FD - 14
  5. Big game for St. X in terms of the RPI and looking down the road at playoff time.
  6. Fun game and the Tigers were able to make the plays at the end to close out the game. Tigers keep getting better!
  7. Didn’t they meet in the playoffs in 2020 at Trinity?
  8. Unfortunately, not a surprising outcome for this game.
  9. Smart play by the Elder return guy of stepping out of bounds then touching the ball.
  10. Trinity has dominated the series since 2010. It looked like the Tigers had narrowed the gap but last year didn't help that opinion. The Tigers have the skill players to give the Trinity defense problems, but we'll see if the big guys upfront can hold their ground and allow the Tiger offense to keep the Rocks honest on defense with the run game. While Zane Johnson got a lot of the praise last year with his performance against St. X, it was the run game that was really impressive. If the St. X defense can find a way to control the Trinity run game, then we should have a really good game on Friday night.
  11. A team that has two loses by a total of 3 points. While they haven't started great and failed to finish the last two... they are competing and playing hard. It was a fun game to follow and hopefully this group knows they competed against a top team and were in position to win at the end, just have to make those winning plays against top level teams consistently.
  12. I’ll go with Trinity in a close one. But I think Trinity’s special teams will play a big role in flipping field position, something St. X struggled with in their meeting with Male. Trinity - 33 Male - 24
  13. Disappointing way to lose for the Tigers. Thought the defense played well overall, but those two TDs in the 4th quarter are tough to explain. If there is one thing that came from this game that's a positive for the Tigers... they have themselves a QB for the next two years.
  14. Tomorrow will be a true test to see if Male really is #2.
  15. I think Manual can hang around for a quarter or so, but think Douglass is able to pour it on as the game goes. Frederick Douglass - 34 Manual - 7
  16. At this point in the season, I'm taking Boyle Co. but there is still a lot of football to be played.
  17. Hard to tell who Male is. Didn’t look like a “Male” team in their two scrimmages then have played really well against not so great JCPS teams this year. Should be another fun game in this series.
  18. I see this as a low scoring game as both defenses will control the game. Trinity has an outstanding kicker so they'll have the advantage in field position which could be the difference in this one. I'll take Trinity in a game that goes down to a late possession in the 4th quarter... Trinity - 21 FD - 14
  19. Will tickets be sold at the game or are they digital only?
