I agree, any given Friday.

Manual won 29-22.

The Manual team that beat Frederick Douglass showed up tonight and took it to the Tigers for the first back to back wins in the series in a long, long time. St. X QB hadn't thrown an interception all season but had two tonight. I was impressed with Manual size in the trenches which ultimately what was the difference as the Tigers got beat in the trenches. It probably helped Manual that they had an open week before this game so came in fresh and well prepared.

Wow, congratulations Manual. 6A is going to be very interesting in the playoffs.

6A is a night mare. Any Given Friday baby!!!

Terrific game between 2 really good teams. 
Felt X should have given the ball to Harbin more, none more son on 4th and 1 late in the game when it was still tied. 
Oh well!  
6A is as open as it’s been in some time IMO.

This one surprises me.

But like I said before Manual has talent. Just inconsistent.

And yes, the trenches win! 

Maybe the Douglass loss in OT on the road might not have been as bad as I thought it was a month ago. However, the Broncos have a lot of areas to improve in before the playoffs themselves.

Ryle beat CAL and St. X beat Ryle. Just shows every game is different. I know CAL passed for over 300 yards against Manual so that was probably the difference.

No. 2 St. X, which had three red-zone drives end with field goals, dropped to 4-3.

Big win for the Crimson. The top of 6A felt open coming into this week but this makes it even more so. As many have said before, it is an any given Friday type of season. 

Huge win for Manual. 6A will be super interesting come playoff time.
