  1. My primary disagreement with a split is just plain numbers. There are not enough private schools in Kentucky to warrant a separate devision.
  2. Disrespect is disrespect regardless of the party. Agree Billary is just as bad.
  3. Morehead, I might take your posts seriously if you would refrain from using your juvanile sense of humor in referring to Mr Huckabee as "Huck", Huck Pile", "Huckleberry", etc. Anytime I see this type of insulting name-calling, I immediatley tune out.
  4. Actually, it's just the opposite. My child attended Catholic school and I consider myself an avid supporter of the Catholic school system. The intent of my post was not to voice my opinion of the schools but to try to voice my opinion of the critics posting here. I truely believe that those criticising this ruling as a slap on the wrist will never be satisfied with degree of punishment nor will they ever be convinced from believing that privates are cheaters,; why else can they win, if they don't cheat? I'm sorry if my post came across any way other that what I intended. By the way, I've got a lot of human frailities, bu being a hater is not one of them
  5. Just a couple of opinions of mine based on comments presented in this thread: When a private school is found guilty of a violation, NO PENEALTY WILL EVER BE SEVERE ENOUGH If a private school is never found to be in violation, THE KHSAA IS INCOMPETENT OR THEY HEVEN'T BEEN IN VIOLATION ONLY BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T BEEN CAUGHT. BECAUSE EVERYONE KNOWS THEY'RE CHEATERS.
  6. I have a theological question regarding this whole episode...will the parents of the students receiving this assistance be required to return 10% to the church next Sunday?
  7. I don't think this complaining about an "unlevel playing field" will ever happen until there are "state smartness championships" Where are your priorities, man???
  8. Either one of these teams will beat UK by 20 or more
  9. Tubby might, well indeed, be 7-1, but he's doing it with Dan Monson's players
  10. If any team wins a state championship they automatically demonstrate that they have an unfair advantage. The next year a multiplier of 1.2 would be used to determine their classification. If they do not make the semi's the next year, a multiplier of 0.95 of the previous 1.20 will be used for the following year. Another championship will rais the multiplier to 1.40, etc. Any team that does not make at lease the semi's in any year will be given a multipler of 0.90 for the next year. Another failure will result in another 0.90 for the following year, etc. If more than 70 players dress, there will be a multiplier of 1.16 unless they have won a championship in any activity including academic team during the previous decade then the multiplier would be prime minus 4.0 If a team ever, through the multiplier system achieves a rating of 10 or higher, they will be banned from playing until they roll doubles. If a team ever, through the multiplier system obtains a rating of 0.20 or lower, they will be given a participation trophy and allowed to field 16 players at a time. This is all the time I have to ponder this at the moment, I have to work on the CAT testing formula for a while.
  11. I watched the game on wahoo.com. I wished someone had told the announcers that Curtis Turley hasn't coached the Knights for 3 years
  12. I suppose that since Lone Qak is the only team that would fit this category, the answer is zero. I don't expect that the Knights will shut them out but I do believe the Knights will beat them. I've been saving my money all year so I don't really have to worry about saving it and staying home.
  13. Mr. and Mrs. SwampThang will be at the LexCath/Harrison game
  14. Was it just me or was Macy critical of every offensive possession of the Cats?
  15. Just a thought...he really did know what he was talking about. Alabama fans take their football pretty serious.
  16. I may be wrong but I thought he was only referring to individuals that were born and reared in Bell County. native is not a derogatory remark. It only refers to someones environmental background. I currently live in Fayette County but still consider myself a "native of Letcher County".
  17. Quite a subjective comment, do't you think? Have you played against all of these teams? If so, I apologize in advance for questioning your post
  18. I think if a team gets up by 45 points or more, they should have to deliberately take a saftey after every touchdown they score. They should also take three snaps and fall down. On fourth down, the punter should have to catch the snap, turnaround and punt toward his own endzone. As you can probably tell, I don't care if a team scores more than 70 points or not. I can't imagine that a team goes into a game having previously been thumpped and suddenly feels they have a shot. Bottom line...if you don't want to get beat by 70+ points, forfeit the game
  19. Having seen my son's tuition increase about 60% over the last 4 years, I'm sure there's enough money to pay. They'll have to pry any donation from my cold, dead hand
