I would say as long as there are no post-season implications, why not allow a shot clock somewhere like the KoB or AIT? Not that they need to mess with that formula, just... why not? It's like a wooden bat tournament in baseball. Sure, most kids won't use one until they're being payed to play, but they still happen. Or did at least. I'm not super current on baseball happenings the last 10 years or so.

This is a shot in the dark... I’m guessing about 70-80 possessions per game for an average to up-tempo team. A team like Anderson Co a few years ago might be playing 45-possession games. Again, complete guesses.

Depends on how you define strategy I suppose. Running 1:30 off the clock with a motion offense is strategy, but putting together three straight 0:15 possessions resulting in points on three different quick-hitters isn't? Seems to me that in theory, coaches would have to expand their playbook(which I'm not certain is a good thing). Also... the two-for-one is far more strategic, and requires a higher level of understanding by the players than an offense/defense sub late in the 4th IMO.

Getting this conversation out of the way early this year! I wouldn't be surprised to see KHSAA allow but not encourage the use during maybe holiday tournaments or something like that(and maybe they already do), moving forward. Personally, I don't care either way. "Stall Ball" and its "patient" cousins have kept me in games and taken me out of them. Same with running and gunning. The logistics, understandably, will always be the one thing that will stall the institution of the clock, for better or worse.

His name is still on a banner hanging in the gym from the 1990 All "A" Regional Championship season. I never made the connection until he won the big one with PLD. All W-Town does is produce winners... And I agree, this was a fun listen!

My first thought as well. I can’t imagine it’s a very big number, but I’d say it’s adequate for a small school like that.

If you're cool with sitting shoulder to shoulder with a stranger, Williamstown hosting a tournament is one of the cooler atmospheres. The 2017 district tournament and 2020 All A stick out to me. The 8th Region Tournament at Henry Co. is a must see in a typical year too. In general, I'm a fan of Augusta's gym. I've always liked Eminence's gym, but they're getting a new one next season. Villa is a very unique setting too. And I'm partial to Western Hills, where I scored my first Varsity points. Across the river, the gym from "Hoosiers" is very cool to look at, but not nearly as much fun to play on from what I gather. Mason in Ohio is a tremendous facility as well.

I'm receiving the vaccine Saturday. Initially, I declined to be included on the roster for no real reason other than I haven't been vaccinated since I went to college. Not in an anti-vax stance or anything like that. I've just never had the flu, so I never got a flu shot. In my advanced age and wisdom, I realized a couple things about that line of thinking. 1) I don't want to get the CV, even though I'm fairly certain I had it this time last year. And putting myself at risk because I didn't want a shot is dumb. 2) It would be irresponsible for me not to take every possible step to ensure that I and my loved ones remain healthy, short of giving up caffeine. Gotta have my Dew. 3) People who legitimately need the vaccine either to protect themselves, or even just feel the peace of mind would jump all over the opportunity to get vaccinated. I might as well take advantage of my fortuitous position. 4) My niece and nephew absolutely do not understand why I wouldn't get it. Both are prepared for their dose if ever the opportunity arises.

It's not crazy and in actuality is pretty likely, but I don't know that anyone could say with 100% certainty that the official is the root of the spread.

Unless the defensive player touched the offensive player it's either a warning or a play on. Contact could, imo, warrant a T, but a warning might be more appropriate. Don't believe there's anything illegal about playing defense O.B., but it is a foul for a defensive player to be simultaneously making contact with the boundary and an offensive player, however minor or incidental you deem the contact with the player with the ball. I'm happy to be corrected on this.

You say last year, but they've been top three in the region in scoring defense the last three seasons, and number one the last two. I don't know much about AC, but I do know they can guard.
