That’s between Cole and his parents. I could definitely see a situation where he and Aiden Johnson(2022) lead the turnaround over the next three and a half years. Lots of bumps in that road, but probably worth it for his development as a player and a leader.

Really talented kid who, understandably, is having trouble finding his confidence in a rough season. One to keep an eye on for sure.

8th Region All A second round game between Williamstown and Carroll Co. will be played Sunday following Owen Co./Walton, which tips at 2 according to the scoreboard.

Which games are being affected by weather on the ladies side of things? I know the 8th Region All A has a couple scheduled tonight and a championship game tomorrow afternoon. Any word on those games?

I'd add to this a net of some sort to ease clean-up. There's no telling how many swings I took with a tee into a chain-link fence, but you can't do that most places now.

Heard rumblings of a shakeup in the 32nd that would make Grant Co. the northernmost school in the 8th.

Williamstown Twins, Eric and Aaron Moore each scored 1000 in the mid to late '90s Zack Mefford('05) 2000+ Pat Steele('06) 1000+ Jake McKinley(early '10s) 1000+ David Jump(early/mid '10s) 1000+ Jon Jump('17) 1000+ Brennan Stanley scored his first 1500 or so in orange and black. I'm missing some, but I'm not sure who. I feel like one or two from the 2003 class got there, but I can't recall. Seems possible Milburn could have, or a couple others from the late-80s/early-90s. Bunch of Lady Demons got there as well, including the Wood twins from the same class as the Moores.

I don't know if he'll ever catch Larry Bird, but that young man is a handful on the court. Just not one of Wireman's hands...

They might keep a few of us around for zoos and scientific stuff. I know for certain they'll be interested in learning how @mcpapa sustained his health all these years.

Standardized testing is making a mockery of the "student" in student-athlete anyway. Let them pick where their developing minds go to be, in most cases, stunted.

Back door cuts? Pick & Roll pocket passes? Kids are making plays. Their stats should reflect that.

It IS a game of runs, but I tend to agree with you here. So then what? Coaches, event administrators, and referees conference to discuss the course of action? I'll go ahead and try to say this legibly, one way this would affect teams is, some of the districts use "points scored/allowed in seeding games" as a tiebreaker for seeding the district tournament. A route of a district rival not only improves morale of the winners, but puts them in better position in February. Would any coaches be willing to concede that?

Probably a discussion for a different thread, but could we pro/con this one out? Immediate questions/thoughts that come to mind: At what point spread/point in the game does KHSAA declare TKO? Is there a format to assure some uniformity? (Each team gets x offensive/defensive possessions.) Does it pose any complications with practice regulations? (assuming there are regulations in place.) I like it at first glance though.

An attempted block will almost never receive a T. Slapping the backboard opposite the shot attempt will getcha one though. From a logical standpoint, it seems like a great way to scramble some bones in your hand. I wouldn’t know, I can barely grab the net on a good day.
