Which graduate of a Kentucky high school is doing the best in college basketball right now?

 

Off the top of my head, I'd have to say Kelan Martin (Ballard HS) at Butler University. The Johnson strong boy (Perry County Central---???) at WKU also comes to mind. I'd be interested to hear of others.

Ray Spalding (10.8 ppg & 9.7 rpg) & Quentin Snider (11.8 ppg, 3.9 apg, & 3.2 rpg) at UL.

Matt Wilson (12.2 ppg & 6 rpg) at Army.

DeAndre Dishman (10.9 ppg & 6 rpg) at EKU.

Terry Taylor (15.2 ppg & 8.1 rpg) at Austin Peay.

I'd give the nod to him, followed by McDonald, followed by Spalding, followed by Terry Taylor.

Not necessarily the best but noteworthy from the D2 ranks.

11-0 Bellermine ranked # 3 in D2 (and has a 50 game home winning streak) has Brent Bach (Augusta) who is averaging 12.5 PPG while shooting .513% from behind the arc.

and Ben Weyer (NCC) who is averaging 12.0 ppg while shooting .528% from behind the arc. (.535% overall). Ben also averages 4.5 boards per game.

11-0 Christian Brothers University who is ranked # 5 in D2 has Alex Trentman (Bishop Brossart) who is averaging 7.7 PPG while shooting .614% overall and .435% from long range. He is also averaging 5 rebounds per game.
