I just read that he ran a 4.73 laser time that sounds about right. I didnt say he wasnt the biggest or fastest back I said he wasn't running a 4.5 and not head and shoulders above the rest. I think there are several good running backs in NKY.

Most camps hand time. If it isnt electronic it doesnt count. I seen quentin baker run and barnes he isnt as fast at quentin and he ran 10.79 100 and 4.65 electronic time.

He doesnt run a 4.5 everyone throws that number out there. I have seen him play twice and would put him in top 5. But not head and shoulders about anyone.

Highlands defense has always been for lineman to clog the holes so that the linebackers could make the tackles. Unless something has changed I would say the linebackers are more at fault than the lineman.

Weinrich might have been coaching under dale for 19 year but remember he is a New head coach. Dale is a legend. Give him a few years to find his way and we will see if he is head coach material. I think it is a combination of lesser talent and weinrich getting his feet wet as head coach.

I totally disagree with you 2 of the 40 yard bombs where dropped TD's. You have to stretch the field to make the run game go. I think the defense need to tighten up if they want to win district. They where moving the ball all over the field on NCC.

This year it is a coin flip. Yes they could beat the birds twice this year. But CovCath needs to worry about beating them 1 time.

You should add Ryle and Simon Kenton to the list of 6a teams that mayfield cant play with. They are good but C'mon man. Please don't compare them to Trinity.

I know some people say freshman football has nothing to do with varsity but Ryle beat highlands 42-0, Campbell county beat them in overtime, CovCath beat them 14-6 and highlands beat Cooper. It looks kind of like this season so far. They were 5-4 and a very average football team.

I was at the game it looked like the NCC player broke on the pass and the CC play ran the wrong route so theee was a huge collision. Ball was thrown about 5 yards behind the reciever. I dont know the rule but hard not to throw the flag with a hit that hard. Looked like an unfortunate break for NCC. Game was going to be won by who ever didnt make the last mistake. Great game to watch.

NCC needs to establish a run game. Way to many 3 and outs in this game. Defense was on the field way to much.

It sounds like last week every thing went right for the birds and this week everything went wrong. This same Camels team beat highlands in overtime as freshman.

NCC has always loaded their schedule with alot bigger schools. I believe they have been to 8 of the last 9 2A state championships. I think it is a great game for both teams. NCC usually has enough talent to put up a good fight even though they lose to the bigger teams. I think it is a win/win for both teams.
