Lawnboy13 Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Breds had multiply opportunities to get the win, but credit the Cougars on the win.
Lawnboy13 Posted September 25, 2016 Author Posted September 25, 2016 BTW, kudos to Cincinnati Star64 for AWESOME television coverage of this game.
Clyde Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 BTW, kudos to Cincinnati Star64 for AWESOME television coverage of this game. Agreed. My guy Skinner was really good.
Truthwilliams55 Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Fairly even game. Either team could have won. Conner hurt themselves being careless with the ball a few times, and NCC had some breakdowns in the secondary in obvious passing situations.
KentuckyJoe Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 NewCath DB'S need to pick it up especially the safety play!
rookie57 Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Looks like NCC held their own pretty good to me.
GoIrish20 Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Not a NCC fan by any means but GAWD!!!! Kelly will be THE stud running back in NKY by his Senior year. I saw this kid in the NKYFL and he was unstoppable. He hasn't missed a beat. NCC #1 and HC #2 in NKY 2A this year.
Lawnboy13 Posted September 25, 2016 Author Posted September 25, 2016 NewCath DB'S need to pick it up especially the safety play! The long touchdown pass on the last play of the 2nd quarter was a "killer". It would have been nice going to the half down 14-7 instead of 21-7......and getting the ball to start the 3rd.
Cane Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Conner is a good team but not as good as advertised. Breds played hard all game.

The kid just does not go down easy.
GoIrish20 Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 It's sure is looking that way how he has played so far. The kid just does not go down easy. And he didn't as a youth player. I will cheer for HC to win but they're gonna have their hands full for awhile.
NewDudeOnTheBlock Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Conner is a good team but not as good as advertised. Breds played hard all game. I was thinking the same thing. But given the SK Vs. HHS score most teams in NKY are suspect.
Miller Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 NewCath DB'S need to pick it up especially the safety play! You can say this, but the truth is that their QB needs to pick it up. I'm not attacking him, so please don't take it that way. However, he has got to stop holding the ball, running instead of throwing, throwing too short or selling out receivers. Super, super, super kid, but Lord all mighty buddy - throw that sucker! It's obvious they can run the ball, but if they can throw it, good things will happen in November/early December. (See Beechwood's passing stats against HC last night.)

Maybe that is the game plan of their coaches? You can't be a casual observer and critique a possible game plan .
