NCC was sort of flat but they did play a ton of people tonight rotating a lot. Most of the Harrison Co yards were on passes right down the middle of the field and the receiver was wide open.

Way to bounce back Breds! Now they need to calibrate their sights on the games that start having some reason to win.

NCC just keeps on winning.

On the 77 yard TD, that guy was so WIDE OPEN and about 10 yards behind the "D". However, give credit to the Harrison Co. QB, he did make a couple of very nice throws.

From the Cincinnati Enquirer.........Sophomore running back Kyle Kelly had 21 carries for 169 yards and three touchdowns to lead Newport Central Catholic to a 42-10 win over Harrison County.

Congrats to the BREDS on their win last night. Harrison Co.keep your heads up guys and keep getting after it. I was looking over the BREDS roster and can't believe the weapon's that are on this team and they have NO PASSING GAME what so ever, it is baffling to us fan's to what we are seeing. why do they continue to throw the ball 30 to 40 yard's down the field? what about the short game? there are 6 darn good receiving athlete's on that team who can make play's at anytime plus the back's that they have, if they what to go deep in the playoff's or even make it, something has to be done this offense is so (OLD SCHOOL) and boring to watch the same 5 play's over and over and over, come on. Eddie's offense keep defense's on their heel's and was very fun to watch and was very successful from what I recall, it's like NCC is going back in time wile everyone else is moving forward. Very hard to watch!!!!!!!!!! Good luck hopefully they can get it rolling and make it back to BG these kid's deserve it.

I totally disagree with you 2 of the 40 yard bombs where dropped TD's. You have to stretch the field to make the run game go. I think the defense need to tighten up if they want to win district. They where moving the ball all over the field on NCC.

I totally agree with you as well about the defense but 2 of the starting linebackers where out do to injury and this was the first game back for the other backer since the Scott game the defense will be fine but back to the offense what about some motion, 5 yard outs, 5 yard slants, 10 yard outs, 10 yard slants, quick pass to the tight end? Just something different then this 1980 offense NCC.

All this Breds talk is confusing. Harrison County are the Thorobreds as well so it made the updates and game summaries here harder to follow than they probably should be. Using NCC and HC would be greatly appreciated!!!

NCC is the Thoroughbreds. Harrison Co is the Thorobreds. So as long as people have the correct spelling it should be okay.

 

You can tell the Thoroughbreds fans. They would be the ones complaining about a 2A school getting a 32 point win versus a 2-2 4A school by not being imaginative on offense and allowing too many yards on defense.

They both refer to themselves as "The Breds".......clarification would be good.
