We will see how good NCC's defense really is. Fatigue won't be an issue because most of NCC players play both ways as well. I am looking forward to a much better game this year than last.

Why wouldn't Cooper platoon they gave up 52 without it. I would bet Cooper would score almost every drive if they were fresh. That is what Highlands did under Dale. The best play offense and the rest would play D. Highlands would just out score you.

No SK will never be where Trinity is but I do believe they will be in top 3 of NKY for many years.

It wasn't conditioning it was platooning that Highlands has been doing for years. You have fresh legs when you only play one way. I was very surprised that a 6A school would have so many playing both ways.

I agree highlands has won like the last 15 meetings. Even if Cov Cath had all returning starter I still would have a hard time ranking them higher in a pre-season poll. All though this is the year I think CCH will win.

When was the last time they got dominated by a couple NKY teams and had 5 losses. With alot of people predicting another 5 loss season? I heard that the highlands feeder league is down alot of players and the 8th grade actually combined with another league. All things that make (outsiders) think times are changing in the fort.

I dont know how many years they have been counting state championships but to (outsiders) Dale muller won almost half of them in 20 years. With him retired and the season they had last year yes it looks like they will be far and few between in the near future.

The good Highlands teams always competed against the Ohio powerhouses. This highlands team got destroyed against them when they all played JV a couple years ago. 30+ Elder St.X Trinity. Most people who watch football know this is going to be a down year. Highlands Trinity Mayfield NCC BG are all state title game or it is a down year.

HC quarterback threw some nice passes and scrambles really good. They didnt run the big boys much but they are very hard runners. HC has some athletes on this team. Bellevue had a hard time moving the ball.

Yes I do believe that and that is why I think they are winning.

Last year they didnt fair to well but I beleive the varsity beat them 15-14 when Hodge was quarterback.

You dont see them in the offseason you dont know if the are working hard or not. It is the coaches job to make kids by in to what they are doing. You can look on a football field and see if the kids by in or not. Are the Boone County kids in the weight room 6 days a week are they running track are they doing what the our schools are doing. If so I would think they would have a better product on the field. Again it is the coaching staff that sets the tone for all of that.

We all see it different I feel any shot about a school on here is on the coaching staff not the players. It is their job to get the athletes on the field and put them in the right place. That is what they are paid for.
