When you are limited to ridiculously low practice restrictions you tend to get your butt kicked.

Lexington Public Schools/Athletics is a joke of epic proportions. They don't want them to be good, they don't care. The best players in the school are probably walking the halls and want nothing to do with the fiasco that is Fayette County Football.

It's been a pleasure to watch Josey play QB during his time at BC. And to think he'd be a better WR had there been someone to get him the ball. I just hope he can win a title before he's done.

Boyle is a really good team...as is Danville, just not on the same level. Boyle plays really good defense and will put a hat on you in droves. When the offense starts clicking, look out.

There are no kids going from BC to D. Might be coming in from elsewhere but not from the county. I don't think there will be a merger either but the momentum is definitely towards the county. Results on the field prove it and the future is solidly in favor of BC. The problem at Mercer is a commitment problem. The community does not support the program like is done at Danville and especially Boyle. There is a HUGE difference in what is going on within the Boyle County Football Program compared to most places. The amount of parental participation in volunteering and supporting the coaching staff and team is very unique. It's awesome to witness it firsthand. The QB Club at BC is unreal. As far as a merger?!?! I don't think Danville Schools is ready to throw in the towel but there are LOTS kids transferring across town to Boyle (or attempting to transfer) because of several reasons both academic and athletic. Some parents that I have spoken to just do not like the way things are headed over there and felt like BC is a better choice. In the past there were kids going back and forth but it seems to be only a one way migration lately. Danville Football will be very good the next couple of years but after that not sure what to expect.

Lincoln played a good game, just didn't have enough horses (injuries) to pull it off. The stomach bug has hit hard and early. Gunna be a long few days. Hope nobody else has to experience it. Good luck to Lincoln the rest of the way. They got some good coaches and players...they actually had the right game plan against us.

Final The flu bug has now hit BCMS Football. Several were sick before/during/after. Gunna be a bad few days.

As of right now...I don't see how you can come to any other conclusion other than Boyle Co is the best team?!?! And I'm not sure that a Chuck Smith coached team will actually "get worse" over the course of the year, which is everyone's goal...to get better and better and peak during the playoffs. If Boyle Co stays healthy, they will be a big time contender in the end.

Boyle Co Football was trash before Smith built it into what it is today...I'm not saying he's better than any other coach, but what I am saying is that he grew that program from the youth program up and picked up right where he left off in 2004. And it's only going to get better in the coming years.

Sometimes classes are irrelevant and cannot be used to bolster or downplay a win/loss. For ANY team to beat LexCath, Boyle, Belfry, etc...you obviously got a good team. Those three would be Top 15 in the state w/o classes IMO.

How did the Freshman kid (Robinson) do for Hills? TIA
