I know Paducah got close, but sounded like CH had control the entire night.

Congrats

Well, well, well....looks like them BC Rebels had themselves a nice win last Saturday vs Central Hardin after all.

I wonder how many yards CH ran for in this game?

Unofficially 489 yards. Barbour and Arnette combined for 437 yards. CH passed the ball for a 10 yards. CH stuck to their bread and butter by pounding the ball down PT's throat and was successful. Good rebound win for CH.

Tilghman has some very nice pieces but I fear they do not have the size up front or the depth to knock off the heavyweights in their class.

I wasn't at the game so could some body who was answer this? Looking at Central Hardin rushing yards I'm assuming PT couldn't stop the run. Was most of PT yardage passing or rushing? Does anyone have the stats for both teams!

Ttt

Most of PT yards were passing on scrambles with receivers releasing down field....CH had a 75 yd passing TD called back by phantom holding....PT not disciplined on defense enough and got beat on counters all night! Good win for CH and PT can learn alot!

Great game, 27-25 Central Hardin in the 3rd quarter. The referees were not going to call holding on Paducah Tilghman last night. Both bombs for touchdowns were the QB scrambling, lots of holding on both plays by Paducah, no call. Central had a hard time running 1st series, slowly established their will in the running game and at the end of the second half it seemed like Darious Barbour had close to 300 yards rushing, incredible rushing performance last night. Central wore down Paducah Tilghman and a goal line stand in the 4th qtr seemed to break their will, Final score 48-25. In the 4th QTR Central squib kicked the kickoffs and every time Paducah Tilghman would just fall on the ball, not even attempting a return? Very odd.

Central Hardin missed another extra point but blocked 2 XP from Paducah Tilghman. Central also had an interception and 2 fumbles which is somewhat troubling. They need to shore up their special teams, as they gave up a kick return for a TD. Make these mistakes against South Warren or Bowling Green and it could be the deciding factor in winning or losing as I think both games will be tightly contested.

Actually CH blocked 1 XP and 1 FG attempt...the other XP that PT missed just banged off upright...playbook actually was opened up a little more last night for CH too!

Also, only 1 fumble and 1 INT

My only concern for Central Hardin is that Reece Iler still does not look comfortable at times throwing the ball and needs more reps throwing down the field to get a better feeling for what his receivers will do in certain situations. There will be games ( South Warren, Bowling Green), when the running game might struggle to move the ball and a strong passing attack is absolutely necessary. I know Reece Iler has only 2 starts as a varsity QB. If he develops as a passing QB with better decision making, this team could make it interesting come playoff time. Looking ahead, the post season sets up well for Central Hardin as they are out West this year for the playoffs and don't have to face the Big 3 in Louisville until the state semis.

Good win for CH! Established the run. Should be a common theme for them all year.

Tilghman likely got worn down, but not many 3A teams have CH size and depth

Darious Barbour had 268 yards rushing and 4 TDs and was in a zone you don't see that often, where everything clicks.

Central Hardin can play with most teams in the state when the offense is clicking and the defense forces the offense out of their comfort zone.

The problem with playing in 6A is and has always been the perceived unfairness of having to play against the private Louisville schools in the playoffs (Trinity, ST Xavier), and the advantage they bring to the class.
