Both teams come into this one banged up. Trigg has had trouble running the ball and stopping the pass. Dunigan is likely out for Tilghman. Trigg has not beaten Tilghman in five career meetings and has never scored more than nine points against them

South Warren should be number one. They have played a tougher schedule with a similar margin of victory than Johnson Central.

Jaggers isn't a coaching option at Trigg as much as he may want to be.

It's amazing that pretty much anyone who comes in off the street can ref an official KHSAA sport. Can you imagine if Uncle Bob wanted to ref a basketball game or Aunt Susie wanted to call bases in a softball game?

Meijer in Bowling Green and Cumberland Falls are two with good fields that never get the same publicity KOB or Republic Bank get

I've always said Fort Campbell has the biggest home field advantage in the state. If you get past the screening, you drive past tanks and copters to the field. Who else has that? In the past, Fort Campbell has always e-mailed the coach and athletic director of the opponent and told them what fans have to do to get on post, that they should arrive early, have license, registration, and insurance, etc. They have switched ADs this year. Not sure if that notification was made, but Mayfield visited there two years ago and not much has changed. New coach Josh McKillip said this was the first time in 20+ years he can remember the program not getting a single transfer in to play football -- good player or bad player. Troop deployment and movement is in flux right now and not a lot of movement.

Larger newspapers across the country are cutting back sports staff at the expense of high school sports. The Tennessean went through this a few years back. It's a shame, but newspapers have always been behind the curve when it comes to adapting to changing times.

No one is ever going to agree with a player ranking list. No one is going to agree with a team ranking list. Why? No one. I mean no one gets to see every player and every team on a regular basis. ukfan could not list five players from western Kentucky without looking in the same way I couldn't list five players from eastern Kentucky without looking. It's also how complaints are because I have not seen anyone on here counter offer a top 50 list or even list 10 northern Kentucky players that should be on the list.

The Hopkinsville newspaper jumped the gun and had a tweet that said former UL player Ellis Myles had gotten the coaching job. They have since backtracked to say he was interviewed.
