Nothing from Pick and Snot? Do you guys miss us here in Ft. Mitchell? Good start though. Congrats.

The game went like I thought it would, I picked a (42-7) score. Arnett looked good with 4 td passes and the defense was outstanding.

Of course we will miss Beechwood ..... especially the day after Thanksgiving.:whistling:

Miss you too Snot. Have a great season.

Thanks ...and the same to Beechwood....I think it's their year!

I had my doubts last week, but the Tigers looked much better this week. We get to find out in a real game next week.

Meanwhile, the beat goes on in Mayfield.

Well, the joke of trying to get in the base made the trip frustrating, we arrived 10 minutes before the game started, but by the time we got the background check finished, we arrived in the stadium with 5 minutes till halftime! Ruined the night for me. A friend told me that some Mayfield fans got in the gate with 6 minutes left in the game. If your team is traveling there, I suggest arriving AT LEAST one and a half hours before kickoff. As for me, my last trip to Fort Campbell.

I don't get it. We always let you guys into Fort Mitchell. Maybe we should have borrowed a page from Fort Campbell.

All kidding aside, that sucks.

JUst got out of the brig :lol2:

Cards often and early as there was a clock spotted running across the way after a 42 point halftime lead. Hundreds of Cardinal fans left after waiting in a line for hours to receive a background check. By the time many got cleared the game was out of hand. While it is understandable that security must come first it is also pathetic that Ft Campbell made no effort to have more staff to process fans as Mayfield travels well. When I saw only 4 screeners and a couple of closed screener stations I was mad.

The guy running my check is typing with one finger ( pecking), no way he should have been doing that job, probably typed one word per minute, 4 windows and only 2 open, I would imagine that after the coaching staff hear all the complaints, they will have to consider dropping them. When word gets out of this, you can bet that FC will lose money because the attendance of the home crowd probably won't cover the official's pay. OH, and did I mention, if you officiate a game there you can expect your check in about 6-8 weeks? YEP, and that's after having to make a few phone calls to the base to inquire about it. My advice, scratch the trip from your plans.

Hate that the fans had so much trouble. That's a 2 hour drive, so, a shame fans had to miss 1/2 the game or more. As far as the game goes, the Cards couldn't have played much better in the 1st half, especially offensively. 6 possessions, 6 scores, 6 PATs. Defensively, on Ft Campbells 7 possessions, 5 resulted in a 3 and out and only 3 1st downs and 70 yards given up. The 2nd half was basically going through the motions with a lot of JV and freshmen with a running clock.

Sorry folks, they're doing a few things that are a little more important than high school football on that base. :idunno:

That said, has the talent dried up for the Falcons or is it the loss of Berner?

Some schools will not come and play the Falcons on the new turf as their fans cannot. Get on post. Only district. Games.are.required. maybe they could play in hoptown on sat ni

Srry, don't buy your excuse, we understand the need for security, absolutely agree with stepping it up, but when you have an event scheduled on base, prepare for it, have enough people to handle it, and have people that can handle the job.

I'm with Rookie on the security issue.

Rookie wish you were coming to the Rafferty's Bowl tonight!

As for the Mayfield Cardinals, just another day at the office!
