Best holiday tournament in ky this year

I know last year the Republic Bank Classic at Lexington Catholic was an interesting tournament. How's that look this year? Which do y'all think would be the most interesting?

Lexington Catholic always does a great job every year hosting a holiday tournament. The King of the Bluegrass always has the best in-state teams every year as well as some great out of state teams as well. Gone the last couple years and the competition is second to none. I have heard Ashland holds a nice tournament too.

Meijer in Bowling Green and Cumberland Falls are two with good fields that never get the same publicity KOB or Republic Bank get

I would think the kob would have a tough field as usual. I know its not a holiday tournament but does anyone know what the Marshal county hoopfest looks like this year?

King of the Bluegrass is the best. No contest. National field. Even in a down year, it's better than anything anyone else is doing.

The Lake Cumberland Holiday Hoops Classic in Pulaski County has typically been a nice tourney. Books 16 teams all together I believe.

Wow, that schedule is surely not a down year. Coach keeps it at the top because he never rests and is never satisfied. If you have never been to the KOB, it is worthy of a bucket list if you love HS basketball.

Marshall County Hoopfest has to be mentioned even though it may not be considered a tournament per say, nor is it all KY teams.

 

Always has some of the elite teams in the nation along with local teams.

Marshal Co hoopfest definitely has to be in the conversation. I think because it isn't close to the "golden triangle" most don't know the talent that comes through there.

So it looks like Apollo did drop out.

 

I'm very excited about that tournament this year.
