Tony Butler has resigned after an 8-15 record in two seasons as head coach.

That's awful late to be pulling out on your team. The only thing I can think of is he believes the school will be shut down in another year or two.

Not around WiFi or 4G right now (can't pull up the article), so this might be totally far off...but, I know in the paper down that way a couple weeks ago it was said FC could possibly lose a ton of teaching jobs for next year. I wonder if his was one?

 

@sportsfan08, I don't know that it's going to close. Wouldn't shock me if it did just off hearing the FK rumors, but I have heard it will likely drop to 2A, maybe even 1A enrollment before this next realignment ends and/or that becoming part of the Clarksville, TN school system is a real possibility.

Fort Campbell if it did close down some of the students would go to Christian County School system. It's located in that county is officially part of Kentucky. Either way I don't see it closing down been hearing that for over 10 years.
