  1. I heard that Matt Wilson of Campbell Co will be joining the Travelers. This is a great addition to the team and they were really needing a player like him. He should click well with Braxton and Carson.
  2. Congrats! I think Timmy will fit in well with LMU and being a Carson-Newman fan I'll get to see him play a few times.
  3. Currently serving as interim principal also.
  4. I wasn't concerned about the number of courts but the seating and room for players to hang out while not playing. The EYBL events that I have attended usually have college coach seating on the end lines which is limited at KBA. There are tables for people to sit and eat. The sponsors have booths set up and there is room for players to warm up and be treated by trainers. I am thrilled that a session will be held locally but it's gonna be tight in there.
  5. Is the Cat's Pause already out or did you get a sneak peek?
  6. Saw on twitter that it will be the last weekend in April which is the live period and I'm pretty sure the EYBL will bring in refs at least I hope so. I was told that most of them are college refs and except for a couple of glaring exceptions, what I have seen of them has been pretty good. Now I'm trying to figure out where they are going to put everyone at the KBA. Wonder if they will use LCA too. Surprised this isn't being held at the fairgrounds after the success of the Super Showcase and AAU Nationals.
  7. Is that a live period? I'm thinking not.
  8. I agree. It isn't right that KHSAA can tell kids what they can and cannot do on a Saturday in August or September. Too much power if you ask me.
  9. Anyone know what Wilson weighs? Does he like to beat and bang inside? I've never seen him play that I can recall.
  10. Drew McDonald is ranked a little too low in my opinion.
  11. I agree but often in a small town, if a coach or parent doesn't submit the picture to the local paper or at least ask them to cover the signing it won't be in there. At least that's how it is where I live. If I was his coach I would go ahead and submit the picture now. People in the community need to see positive things like this.
  12. Travelers 17U play at 9:20am and 2:40pm on Thursday.
  13. I've been trying to find schedules for a couple of days now. I keep going in circles and running into broken links. Frustrating.:irked:
  14. The site indicates that these rankings were compiled by a 14 year old.
  15. There are 4 other 2016s along with Carson. Vince Toftness (came off the bench and made the All District Tournament team last season), Chad McDonald, Blaine Forsee, and Mason Borchers. They have played together since 3rd grade and have good team chemistry. 2017s Nolan Tackett (returning starter) and Patrick Osborne should also make an impact.
  16. Wow! No way would I pay that unless I had a relative or close friend playing. Is the price the same for kids?
  17. I had wondered if the jr players from KCC didn't participate because they were in school too.
  18. Any details on the student from Nigeria? How big is he and what grade is he?
  19. What about Matt Rose from LCA?
  20. Agree with what you say about Hager. One of the best and most under rated players in 2016. Has good size for his position, plays hard and a high bball IQ to go along with his skills.
  21. I know that Emany Malumba left the team after the state tourney. Don't know about anyone else.
  22. He was with the team in MN.
