All Stars: Indiana 104 Kentucky 94

Featured Replies

I recorded it and will watch it tomorrow. I was told it was close game the whole time.

James Blackmon had 41 and Quentin Snider had 37 is the info I got.

IND: Blackmon 41; Blueitt 18; McIntosh 13; McRoberts 11; Thompson 8; Wideman 8; Tyler 5

KY: Snider 37; Cunningham 20; Martin 14; Williams 9; Johnson 5; Davis 4; Green 3; Porter-Bunto 2

Looking at the box for KY, it appears that the bigs may not have benefitted from too many touches.

A universal truth in all-star games: guards dominate the ball.

I believe it is safe to say that more fans will pack arena in Indy than were at McAllister Gym in Lex last night. The games were competitive and entertaining and the teams played hard. But how can Kentucky not even sell out a D-III gym for this, the granddaddy of summer all-star games? Yes, it is great that it was on TV, and the new Transy gym is a gem of a place, but c'mon, man! Where is the support and buy-in from the fans? Is it that folks won't we jump on board it's not somebody going to UK? I gather from last night and recent years is that high school basketball is a greater priority to Hoosiers than it is to Kentuckians. When and how did this drastic transformation occur? As somebody who has spent equal time on both sides of the river and honestly "feels it" from both states' perspectives, I've got to say that this flat-out breaks my heart. It actually appeared that there was greater attendance at the girls' game than for the boys' game!

I had to work. Otherwise myself and my son would have been there.

Watching it now. Snider is on fire. 18-15 Ky. 7-9 from the floor as a team. Snider has 2 or 3 three pointers. Cunningham playing well also.

Can anyone provide a list as to where all of the players on both squads have signed to play college ball at? Thanks

Typical of all of these type of games. Two players for each team took more than half the team's shots. Why bring the other guys along. Five guys from Indiana didn't even play 10 minutes.

Maybe $30 a pop for tickets had something to do with it.

I'll second that. No way going to pay that much for an Ind/Ky All-Star game, I mean come on this isn't the McDonalds game

Yeah. I didn't know that. I wouldn't have been there.
