  1. Committed to UK will help his chances.
  2. From Russell's perspective, Ashland is their main rival in all sports which might fire them up some but it will still be a 20+ win for the Tomcats.
  3. Bad loss. I know it was on the road and Paintsville is much improved but they should have been able to handle Paintsville.
  4. Really interesting scheduling. Ironton usually only crosses the river to play 16th region schools.
  5. Love to see UK pull another Tyler Bell out of the hat and see him play for UK.
  6. Would have liked to see Raceland instead of Breathitt County. Maybe next year they start it back up.
  7. 3A districts feel "wonky". Russell with Letcher and Floyd,,,,,some long bus rides.
  8. Raceland/Russell should be played if for no other reason than economic. Less travel and gate revenue.
  9. How did Slater slip out of the state to Bama?
  10. Sleeper would be Russell. They could upset one of the big two but hard to see them doing it twice.
  11. Bad home loss for the Devils. Lost twice to Lewis County now.
  12. Boyd County plays football in 4A but in basketball they are in the 2A tournament?
  13. The scary part is Leavitt left Lexington and we did not get a commit. He is now visiting Texas Tech who can easily outbid UK if they want. UK needed to get the commit when he was on campus
