Boyd Co. defeated Henry Co. in the state 2A quarterfinal and will play Bell Co. tomorrow in the semifinals.

Boyd County plays football in 4A but in basketball they are in the 2A tournament?

The All 'A' Classic isn't only 1A size football schools either. No correlation. Johnson Central is in this tournament; Ashland could be if they chose to.

I wrap my head around it by considering the KHSAA's three class breakdown for Track & Field and Cross Country: Small (~1A-2A) = All 'A', Medium (~3A-4A) = KY 2A, Large (~5A-6A).
