I'm curious, did St. Henry win the state soccer tournament?

Wonder who has the smallest gyms. In the 8th it's Eminence. Small and hard to find a seat that does not have an obstructed view.

I didn't see the Owen County dog catcher there but the director to the OC Friends of Animals and the dog shelter was certainly there as she is Carson's aunt. I agree that Owen Co is not just Carson's show. He is surrounded by good players who have played together for many years and they work very well together. Carson had 9 assists in the finals so he obviously shares the ball and has confidence in his teammates. Coach Duvall does a great job with the team year in and year out too. Congrats to Walton on a good game and I agree they have come along way since last season.

So they expect players to eat concession stand fare prior to a game or do without once they enter the arena? Doesn't sound like healthy eating to me. Of course I only know what I read on here but wonder if it wouldn't be better to let him coach tonight and then upon further investigation penalize Coach Bibby if he actions warrant it.

I can't imagine that any team wants to play anyone 4 times a season regardless of whom or where. I really wish we would go to playing district teams once for seeding purposes and then possibly again in a tournament. These kids have been playing each other repeatedly since they were 3rd graders. Several years ago Owen's girls played Gallatin 5 times. Boring in my opinion.

If you can average 25 points per game and shoot nearly 70%, why would you take long range shots? Others on the team do that pretty well. Williams makes most of his shots with someone hanging on his arm or bumping him so there's that too. Also leads the state in rebounds.

Never heard of the Lincoln Institute but sounds interesting.

Always liked his game and have thought he has been underrated on a state level. He has gotten bigger than I thought he would too.

Congrats! I would imagine that he has quit a few assists also. One of the better passers around.

Final from Owenton. Rebels jumped out to a 32 to 8 first quarter and never looked back.

I hadn't seen Jalen play until last summer in the EYBL and while he played well and was obviously very athletic I am a little surprised at the numbers he is putting up now. He must be working very hard on his game and improving. Happy for him.

I think this you are correct since I thought Owen plays Jackson City.

Yo Mama ain't crazy about having to play district teams twice per season either and I really think it needs to be changed to once per season but that's up the ADs. The score was removed after every quarter in the SK scrimmage and as I recall the Rebels won 2 and the Pioneers won 2. I'd say if the scores from each quarter were totaled SK won, but not easily. And yes Williams went out early in the night with an ankle tweak and I'll go ahead and say it before someone else does that the SK football players had just started playing roundball so the scrimmage may have not been indicative of anything to come. OC has beaten Grant 6-3 and Buckhorn 6-2. Grant has also lost to Male and Oldham and Buckhorn lost by 6 to Perry Central so I'd say those are 2 pretty good wins.
