Final from Mt. Olivet.

Not even as close as the score indicates. Augusta was up 30 at halftime and 36 after 3.

Snapp-19

Maddox-15

Crawford-10

Cooper-20 pts

The three headed monster Jason has down there is going to be tough to handle.

How did freshman Burden do for RC?

Is Snapp a better runner or a better basketball player?

Monster is a strong word. Congrats to Augusta for thier first win in the post Bach days/years.

Used that for lack of another word.

Not surprised by the score, it'll be awhile before the RC team can find a way to play together.

I'm surprised by the margin, though I do agree with you that it's going to take a while for Robertson. Even last year, when they had a lot of good veterans, they didn't start clicking until January. This year, Cooper is the leader. Murphy started last year but wasn't needed to be a reliable scorer. But even though he started, he's only sophomore. Then you've got several other inexperienced and/or younger players.

It will be interesting to follow Augusta in the post-Bach era. There have been many instances where a team loses a superstar, then has just as much success the next year as multiple role players step up.

And I believe that the Panthers' "big three" are all juniors.

Those three are indeed juniors. Look foward to seeing them some this season. And next.
