  1. According to Twitter, Eastern KY offered Carson this afternoon.
  2. Travelers actually play at 11:00am and 6:30pm on Saturday.
  3. Carson went down in the first half of the 1st game. Hurt foot and busted eyelid. He didn't return the rest of the tournament due to the foot injury. Hoping he will be back healthy for Lexington.
  4. Herald Leader All State Team Link above to the Herald Leader All State Team. Congrats to everyone!
  5. In my opinion when dealing with a kid, parents should be the point of contact. Invite them to join your program, tell them why you think they should, be ready to give accurate details re costs, tourneys you plan to attend, and be honest. I don't see any reason that a program can't ask a player to join them and leave it at that. Also did I mention to contact parents first.

  7. Congrats to Zack. CNU is a quality program. They won their conference tournament this past season and have been in the NCAA D2 tourney for the past 2 years.
  8. This is in no way an official or complete roster. Just the best I can come up with from memory and twitter. Feel free to correct or add to this. Braxton Beverly-PCC Carson Williams Owen Co Matt Wilson-Campbell Co Ben Weyer-NCC Brad Calipari-Mac Duffie MD Parker Stewart-Union City TN Colton Blevins-York Institute TN Peyton Brougton-N Laurel Kareem Eazy-Huntington Prep Tavin Lovan-Franklin Simpson
  9. Pretty good website to get all the scores. KY teams seem to be doing well. Knoxvegas Heat Invitational - Apr 3-5, 2015 - Knoxville, TN Participat
  10. Is Team Thad associated with any of the shoe company leagues?
  11. I believe you are right. There are special circumstances where students attend a school out of their district like if a parent works in that district and Walton -Verona definitely takes out of district students.
  12. Sponsorship can mean many different things. EYBL teams like the Travelers receive tourney fees, unis, travel, food, and some additional gear. I've seen "sponsorship" that only included a slight discount on shoes. If TBC players don't pay a dime they are indeed blessed.
  13. I'm a huge fan of Drew McDonald and his game and a hope this all works out well for him, but I couldn't believe when NKU gave him the OK to do 2 sports. With the time required for college sports and academics, I can't imagine that many head D1 coaches are going to like splitting time with another sport.
  14. Yes, very good team. They've only lost 2 games this season and I happened to be at both of those games.
  15. And this is why I love high school basketball. Good thing they didn't just 'give the trophy to Oldham and be done with it'.
  16. I don't believe anything I hear about AAU rosters until I see it. Can't even go by what some parents or other "reputable" source say. Everything seems to be subject to change.
  17. Henry County was rocking tonight but my Lord, it had to have been 90 degrees in there. They turn the giant fans off during the game because someone thinks they mess with shots. Kinda doubt that. I can't imagine how hot the players were. It is a good atmosphere but wish they would sell programs, do other regions still do that?
  18. No problem. Just didn't want to keep anyone from making the trip.
