  1. Good win for Cov Cath. Free throws and poor coaching lost this for Holy Cross.
  2. I am a parent of a kid from HC and Scruggs isnt there. Why refute Campbell, he was from Cincinnati. As for the 43 points, I forgot them the day after we lost. Did you hang yourr hat on the 43 points in December while you were sitting without a team to root for?
  3. I dont believe that they are concerned but I am sure they appreciate your concern. Has anyone seen Scruggs lifting with HC as it has been said or are we just going to keep saying this without confirmation?
  4. Wow, I thought when I first read this it was going to turn into another one of the, ''see Highlands is better threads.'' Glad it isnt'. LOL
  5. With the way BGPers dig into every aspect of sports, how did no one on here not point this out before it happened. Some of you should feel like you dropped the ball for not firing the warning thread.
  6. I only saw one helmet come off this year. 2 or 3 times in one game and it was the same player. I would throw that to not being properly worn. My son wore a revo all year and had no issues.
  7. Where it is is fine. Most of the people that want four played with four, if it changes then they were cheated out because they didnt have a chance when they played. We would have won if it were six classes when I played. Leave as is.
  8. Agree. Thanks for the post walter
  9. A lot of kids grow pkaying three sports or more. Once in high school most drop down to two or even one. At high school things get more serious and kids make choices that usually lean towards year round football. My son is in the middle of this choice now. He is a soph that started varsity football. He is playing basketball now but feels like he would be better off in the weight room prepairing for football. Due to this he may not okay baseball, which he has been playing for 9 years. He is a good player in all and could do well in all if he decided to play all. He seems to be leaning towards doing better in one rather than good in three. I think a lot of kids these days are doing the same so the three sport player may soon be a thing of tue past.
  10. Think the same can be said for other A schools like NCC, Brossart, Owen, &u Gallatin. Just amazes me these bigger schools can't pull more talent out of such a larger student population. Add Holy Cross to the small school doing well. How many of the bball players that are doing well football players too. For HC none of the starters play football. Just a thought. Is alot of potential basketball talent lost to the football programs at these schools?
  11. Bruised hip. Could have if needed.
  12. memorey is the first to go. My bad. Still great deffense to win it.
  13. This was a great game. Berger fould out late in the forth. Hc defense stepped up to get the win.
  14. Then the rules need to be changed. I would bet that every coach tries to get as close to 30 games in a year, the max. I woukd also imagine that every other team scheduled as many tourn's as HC did. It just happens that they won out in all the tournaments. Shoukd they have realized this issue and droppes out of the all A?
  15. They would play because they would not have to drop a game and make choices about the total schedule. Get over it, tgis was the smart game to drop.
  16. It could be said that any given night the other team could win, which would be true. These are two very good teams that are fun to watch and talk about. Thats what makes the games fun to watch. The injury being part of the game comment was ment to stir things as it did. But all and all it was still a lose and that was an excuse, a giod but still one.
  17. When you look at the dates of the remaining schedule it all makes since. The Dixie game is the night after a dist seed game. All other are spaced out a few days. No one wants a large gap in the schedule and some of them have to be pkayed. Thise that think HC is trying to hide from Dixie, well we have all met morons before.
  18. Arnt those part of the game? They still lost.
  19. Smart call. These biys have to be worn out.
  20. HC will have a tough week ahead but I believe they will hold their own. One on the schedule needs to be cancelled, Dixie may be the front runner. 1 lose to a team does not sell me that the winner is always a better team. But isnt it harder to sell 2 loses thou, HC beat BG twice in a week. That is harder to explain in my book.
  21. I think you will see a lot of bith from Jalen. Other HC recievers will be Pouncy and Pangallo. A few of this years soph's will have a chance to get in the mix as well.
  22. He also said Cillinsworth was buying new water coolers as well. Top of the line, makes the water lighter they are so good.
