  1. Looking for Cov Holy Cross to win this one. HC basketball team is looking to place their stamp on the year like the indians did in football. If they play their good game I see no reason they couldnt win it.
  2. 64 Jacob Ketron 6'3 240 ish --- right guard open a few possibile 54 Andrew Monson 6'1 250 55 Shawn Sullivan 5'11 215 58 Alex Russell 6'1 235
  3. Holy Cross returns three starting o-line from last year. I believe this will be one of their strong points this year.
  4. It was close early. NCC look frustrated and the HC pulled away at the end. Good team effort from HC.
  5. I heard he just wanted to see what a state champion wieght room smelled like. Just kidding. This would suprise me if true. He does not go to school at HC. I would imagine an insurance issue if he got hurt in any way.
  6. HC coaches have to be feeling good with this win. I have never seen the team miss so manny close shots and still pull out the win at the end. As said by a lot for a while, the free throws are going to catch up with them at some point. Great job boys.
  7. For all I know he found God. I have no idea what sparked him to take a tour and think about a transfer. Which is probably the same as you know. I could care less what he decides as well. My son has parents of other kids telling him he should go to the school their kids goes to and play sports for that school. Big deal, is he getting recruited? No he is not. It has been happening to him for a few years and it is harmless, I think it is done to make the kids feel good but I bet the parent would love for him to do that, if for no other reason he would not be playing for a rival/other school. Again big deal. The kids and his parents need to make the best decission for the kid, no talking in the ear is going to make that call. Lead your statement with I would imagine then it would sound more like your thought not your statement. Also, so you know, the web page for HC invites kids and parents to come and take a look at the school, every kid and parent is welcome to the school for a tour. Is that crossing the line in your book?
  8. Do you have proff of this or is this just you saying it?
  9. I didnt say anything about his eligability or not. All I said was I coukd see why he would want to transfer. It does show why you dont want him to, because it isnt to your school. Thats the only reason half of the people on here complain about a transfer so I guess you fit in.
  10. The kid has not transferred as of yet so how is the news going to break? Do you know that he is? I dont think I could blame the kid if he did, if the kid wants to play football you need players that are around you to want the same. Holmes seems to fall apart every year so how is that doing him any good.
  11. Sloppy win but some great D at the end of the game.
  12. Congratulations and well deserved.
  13. Holy Cross has the football players on the team now. I believe 6 of them total, Kyle Fuller apears to be the only varsity impact player and he is still out for the All Star game. Will this be a large step up for the team or just a small step?
  14. You are correct. My appologies, no need to diss a fan base because of a few, again my appologies.
  15. It lets the BW fans feel good about a season where they didn't beat the teams they had to beat. But I guess you have to go thru the off season thinking something so it might as well be coulda woulda shoulda.
  16. For the most part I could agree. But I would have to put Newport CentralCath right behind Holy Cross. They would beat any team that HC beat as well. I also think that with the heart that HC has as a team, if the coach's had a week to prepare them. HC would be #1 beating Trintiy by a land slide. LOL just kiding but for this year, at this point you can not prove me wrong eighther so I am going to ride this thougjt right inti next year. We all should
  17. I dont think that comment was made. I think the comment said that any team that beat HC would have beat Glasgow as well. You didnt beat the teams you needed to beat at the time you needed to beat them, we did So sit back and think about how it was when you beat us and think about that compaired to wins we have won. Who's wins feel better? Lets talk about the wins in week 15 not 3 or 4. Feel good for yourself if you want but you wont feel as good as we do. We did what we had to to get to the top.
  18. Go home hatter. HC great game and great game Glasgow. Fantastic job by both teams.
  19. Heard the same with Carol Co. Wax on wax off, we will see.
  20. I will be there supporting the Indians. Wish I could catch all the games but have hang with the tribe.
  21. Kozerski's stock has to be improving each week, true?
  22. Will never happen
  23. Very nice to meet you to. Wish you son good luck for me. It sounds like he has a lot of nice options for the future. With that I would like to say that I got a chance to meet several very nice parents and players last night on the Somerset sideline. Fro everything I saw and heard their are plenty of bad things to take away from last night but at some point it has to be put into the past so why nt now. I am sure that each side would love to wash away the negatives from their side that the other experienced so let it happen. Both teams have good programs with good supporters show by the fact that they were in this game to begin with. We all have that crazy uncle that we hope does not show up at family reunions and this shows we have it with our football programs as well.
