The only way I ment them to matter was in the case that we, nky schools, only play southern schools in the play offs so that is all we can do is compare games. I have not seen Mayfield play so I can not answer to that. I have seen BW, if you stop the run you win. I dont see it happening but that may be answered for you. My point was HC, until they beat NCC, will not get to play any of the other top 10 teams. So how can you really compare them other than the vs theory.

A few teams have a chance to beat NCC. Small chance, and HC is one of them. I may be wrong because I have not seen any southern teams play, but 2A up north seems a lot different than 2A south. We can say what we want but the only true way to find out is on the field. The play offs dont answer enough guestion on that topic for me. Game comparison is all we have, and we only get that in the playoffs. And NCC made all look bad last year. Their best compatition was HC last year and that was not all that close. NCC wins state, unless HC beats them.

The loss was a loss. Bad playing but to explain it any diff would be excusses. HC has its road ahead of them in the play offs. We will end up against NCC before your neck of the woods has to, that allows you to get farther in the play offs. It is what it is.

Let us know how you do against Beechwood. The thing holding HC back is the same as last year. Same div as NCC. We will win our first 2 in the play offs and then go against NCC in the third round. Chances are we will lose and then, again, NCC will roll over the rest of the comp in 2A. If were to win the rest of the state will give HC some respect. Have to win first.

Nice win for Holy Cross. Hc controlled the game the entire time, balanced the run and passing game, and olayed stand uo defense. Great job boys.

As I said it has been happening for years and to get rid of the tag you need to play a lot cleaner than they do. Everyone opposing team knows it is going to happen if they get up on the score. Not saying it is the coaching at all. They players may think they are just playing hard, maybe they need to start playing smart.

Holmes has a reputation for years of cheap shots once they know they are out of the game. It will take some time to lose that reputation. I was not at the game to make a call on it but the stories never change.

I have not seen BB play but have rwad and heard enough to make a guess. Thats what they all are anyway. Lloyd has some players, if they can get thru the game without getting pentalized into negative yards, they will win in a close one. Noy sure which players are or have been missing but there line needs to block and not hold the entire game.

Look for HC to be ready to roll. 42-13 sounds like a close number to me.

I thing Holy Cross takes this one by at least 21. First confrence game and wanting to make some noise and sstart the run for NCC. HC.s off and def line will control the game as they run all over the place.
