  2. Agree as well. Coaching staff is top notch. They only have a handfull of kids that have been pushing every play for they whole game. Small part is stamina large part is heart.

  4. Holy Cross will give a good fight. If they play a good game they can win. These predictions of huge numbers between scores will not happen but it will take a hard fight from HC to keep it close.

  7. I was not stating it as an excuess just stated what happened. They will have trouble in these situations every time.
  8. Holy Cross has stepped it up this year but they will run into trouble against teams that dont have to play both sides of the ball. Conners fresh legs and the heat wore to many kids out. They will win there share.
  9. HC git worn out. To many kids playing both sides of the ball. Conner pkayed a good solid game.
  10. Close to what I thought. Look for more movement after this week with some good play on the board.
  11. From what I am hearing, Conner has a big line on each side of the ball. Holy Cross has the speed and talent. Looks to be a good game.
  12. Cooper has a good group of kids. As a HC fan I will tell you they have a very strong defense. The 2 fumbles didnt just fall out of our hands. They were created by the Cooper defense. HC has an offense they will roll over some teams but Cooper didnt let this happen. Their def will keep them in a lot of games. Their offense needs to get more stable. I would like to think that HC def cause them problems that other teams wont, but Cooper needs to get some better blocking up front to get on track. Fans were great and facility was nice. Just a thought to add.
  13. Breds will win in a big way. Not 35 to nothing way but by 3 scores. I think the Camels score a few times but their defense wont be able to stop NCC. More like 35- 14.
  14. State rankings have Conner ranked above Holy Cross. If we put any validity to them then it would be an upset if Holy Cross wins. I am looking for an upset.

  16. Holy Cross is building a reputation as a football school. They are not there yet and do not get players moving to them because of football. Soon they will. Futurecoach is spot on with his statement. At this time Holy Cross is another option for kids that in the past would have went Cov Cath or Newport Central Cath in the past, just because of football and being a private catholic school. It is an option. At this time I would be suprised if any kid chose HC over CCH or NCC because of the football program. But with each win for HC it is getting closer to happening. I would bet that if a decent player had the option for HC and one of the others, and for some reason would not feel confident that he would be a contributing player at CCH or NCC, they will start to chose HC in the future.
  17. This should be a good game. Holy Cross has the weapons to win this as long as they can hold onto the ball. I thing the Cooper game turnover issues were a fluke that the kids will learn from. Conner wants and exspects this win but I believe they will fall short. Holy Cross by 10 or less.
  18. NCC scores 6yd run Highchew. 5.20 lwft in the third. NCC 14-7
  19. NCC scores on a 7 yd pass. 7-7 tie. 40 seconds left in half
  20. NCC fumbles on the 12 yd line. Recovered by Mcnick. 2.22 left in half 7-0 Mcnick
  21. Mcnick recover a fumble at the 26 yd line and returns it for 74 yd td run. Extra pt is good. 7-0 Mcnick
  22. McNick punt. NCC starts at their 25 yd line. 4 min left in 1st
  23. McNick recover a fumbled snap at their 25. No score yet
