COOPJAG
Some of the worst football I have seen out of Cooper . They need to change some things up . They stayed in the same defence all night !! I would say about 80 yards total for the night .
theguru
I know Cooper is a newer school but you can't lose to teams down several classes and expect to compete.

Qwerty1278
Defense for Cooper played solid ball. HC's offense scored a total of 12 points, and then a TD off an interception. Very sloppy games on both sides and I don't see either team being happy with the way they played.
nkypete
Except for Cooper's first drive, HC played extremely well defensively holding the Jags to 15 net yards rushing and 48 yards passing. HC had 58 net yards rushing and 201 yards passing. HC was sloppy in the first half with 4 turnovers and several penalties. Their defense won this game for them. Eric Walker has had a good start to his season with three more TDs tonight (2 receiving, 1 INT return). That gives him six total in the first two weeks. He had seven catches for 138 yards tonight. I agree that Cooper has a good aggressive defense (holding Jalen Beal in check tonight). In the past, HC may not have been able to pull out this type of game. A win is a win whether in be via a blowout or on the good side of a defensive low scoring struggle.
fmkj
Offensine was sloppy for both, but both played very good defense. Holy Cross was moving the ball at times but could not hold on to it. 2 fumbles by recievers trying to get extra yards. HC gave up 80 yards on first drive. Negative 30 the rest of the game. Cant complain about defense like that.

goldendomer57
I know Cooper is a newer school but you can't lose to teams down several classes and expect to compete. Or maybe HC is becoming one of the smaller schools that can compete with the larger ones...they beat Conner in convincing fashion last year and then beat Cooper this year. Just Win
Or maybe HC is becoming one of the smaller schools that can compete with the larger ones...they beat Conner in convincing fashion last year and then beat Cooper this year. HC might be able to compete with larger schools but they cant compete with NCC?
goldendomer57
HC might be able to compete with larger schools but they cant compete with NCC? That is a great question and I think HC is on their way to competeing with NCC every year...I just don''t know if it is this year. That being said this is one of the most talented HC teams ever and they will play very hard all year.
