That is a great question and I think HC is on their way to competeing with NCC every year...I just don''t know if it is this year. That being said this is one of the most talented HC teams ever and they will play very hard all year.

I know Cooper is a newer school but you can't lose to teams down several classes and expect to compete.

 

SK has made a habit of it over the years and they're still out there occasionally fighting for respectability. (Same with Scott except for the respectability part.) It's all pretty new to Cooper, and this game seemed to at least be competitive. Also, they're in 5A, which is wide open in NKY. Might not be great, but they can still build on this.

Most people around the team think this is the most talented team they have put on the field. More offensive players with good skills than any other year, but they fell the improved defense is what will push them over the hump. NCC is the hump.

Last night was very sloppy offense but I would not look for that to happen often. Kids cramping up changed some of they game plan I am sure. Koz will get that fixed. I see the HC vs NCC game being a battle.

I don't think I saw Morris take one snap as the quarter back tonight. Cooper had been splitting snaps with #16, who had all the snaps last night, and Morris on some drives. #16 is a Soph who may have promise but did not look comfortable at all last night. I would never be a very good coach and haven't seen one practice but I would go with a spread offense with Morris at QB and Collins in the backfield. Morris is your best "scrambler" and passer. The only issue with Morris is constant cramping. I don't know the remedy as I know he has been working on the hydrating part. Is there a doctor on here? Do you need stretching exercises, more running during the week? Etc...

Trainers believe something is messed up with Morris's chemical balance in his blood stream.. which is leading to the cramping every week

Well, maybe the cramping is a good thing then as it may lead to them finding whatever is wrong. Hope it's not serious and they get him fixed quickly.

As a visitor from Holy Cross, I do admire the Cooper campus and stadium. Very nice.

No matter how you put it doesn't come down to little school big school it comes down to players and Holy Cross has the football players and a

very nice team they are big ,fast and a great Coach . They definitely did their homework . They deserved everything they accomplish . Good luck Holy Cross the rest of the year .
