  1. I can confirm their were people there taunting, I did not go over by them to the point that I can confirm they were drinking or not. They were not HC fans and were asked to show some class by a HC fan. At which point they told him that they wont root for HC again. Oh well we dont need them anyway.
  2. I agree, the personal fouls are a coaching issue no matter how you look at it. 1 on 2 things, coaches cant control their players or they allow them to do it. To think that that many are anything different is simply allowing it to happen yourself.
  3. They have a field that is used for practice, JV, Freshman and youth games that has a locker room. Not large enough of a setting for Varsity.
  4. Those were not actual Holy Cross fans behind Somerset. They were there just because it was a game. They were asked to leave by a Holy Cross fan and assured him they would not root for HC again. Thats ok we do not need that type of support. After the first half admin for the game had to ask plenty of Somerset fans to leave the sidelines for the same reasons. They were the reason the cops were in that corner to begin with. Bottom line, I agree 100%, adults need to act like adults.
  5. Holy Cross needs to put a damper on the run and force Glasgow to throw the ball. If the defense can do that and Holy Cross run their offense they win by a few touchdowns. Go indians.

  7. Nice job Holy Cross. Way to stick to your game plan while they were trying to bully you off the field. Personal fouls by Somerset were pitiful. I can understand a few when the frustration sets in but that was rediculous and that I blame on coaching not the players.
  8. I will be there working the chains. Best seat in the house.
  9. Should be a good line next year as well. We have 1 sr, 3 jr, and I soph. So 4 of the 5 will return.
  10. I will be at Holy Cross's with some warm coffee and a smile. Looking forward to it.
  11. Looks like Tevin will be lined up against Holy Cross's smallest but most athletic lineman, 6'3" about 220. Trey gets to play with the largets and still vey athletic lineman, say 6' 1or2 about 250. I think these two will do very well against them. Holy Cross's offensive line played a spectacular game against NCC. Compared to the first meeting with them I would have to say they were the most improved area on the team. The entire team had improvements but I think the o line has not gotten the credit it deserved.
  12. I would agree that he probably has no plans to leave Holy Cross but who would not want the recognition for the job that they do?
  13. It is sounding like it will be played at Newport. I think this is going to be a great venue for Holy Cross. They just finished a hard fought game with NCC creating the schools best football memory at this field. Plus the location will add a lot of NCC fans that will be cheering on our Indians. The indians fans had the kids pumped up last week and I know they and the added NCC support will push these kids over the top in this one. I hope the jupers can bring some support for themselves because this one is going to get loud.
  14. I have seen BW play and its the best team I have seen all year by far. Vocke is the real deal. If Mf can stop them I will be impressed. But at this point I have to go with BW.
  15. I have seen no talk about a certain coach. One that has gad a program and continually, year after year, taken a step or two farther. Last year won their first second round game. This year their first Regional Title. The talk all year was ''yea, they are ok but they will never get over that hump (NCC).'' Well boys he got them over that hump. He had an offensive game plan for Fridays game that was a total change from what they did all year long. He changed the deffense every game to match what team he was playing. He convinced his players to buy into his changes and play with all the heart a kid could pkay with. He took them past that hump. And his season is not over yet. My vote goes to Koz. Why has no one elses?

  17. Yes it is. This Holy Cross team in its history. Most wins with 10 previous was 8. Farthest in play offs, previous was they Lost reginal to NCC last year.
  18. Last year after NCC won against HC they went on to rock their way to the state championship. Holy Cross gave them their toughest game last year. I see Holy Cross doing the same this year. The NCC was a great game. HC got a gut check and won. I dont see them losing the rest of the way.
  19. So you give no thought to the team that knocked off your ''clear favorite''. Makes no sense to me but Holy Cross will answer that for you next week.
  20. Holy Cross is on a roll. Just got their first Regional Title and not planning on slowwing down. HC def is playing as stingy as a team can play, offense is moving the ball. They showed a ball control offense against NCC that they have not played all year. I dont see them stopping till they win their first State Championship. GO INDIANS.
  21. Contact your buddy Jeff and have him give Koz a call. It would be a great site for the game.
  22. They are building a new field house right outside of the football field. Parking is a mess, field is in great shape.
  23. Another good point. Doesnt this ? Get old?
  24. Well put. I wonder what else we mess up for them?
