Glasgow and Holy Cross (Covington) meet to decide the Class 2A State Championship. Holy Cross is making their first appearance, I believe. Can they cap off the season with a fairytale ending? Who do you have? Why?

Holy Cross needs to put a damper on the run and force Glasgow to throw the ball. If the defense can do that and Holy Cross run their offense they win by a few touchdowns. Go indians.

Glasgow kept up with Bardstown's speed, and has size and strength to boot. Defense is outstanding. Can throw it when they need to, certainly Bowles is an excellent target.

Don't know much about HC, didn't this team beat Beechwood?

you sure don't know much about Holy Cross . Beechwood 69 Holy Cross 26

Based on the common opponent Somerset. I will take Holy Cross by 2 scores.

Welcome to NKY football! Holy Cross wins by 14+

The way HC is playing, they should win. I am hoping Glasgow has improved too. I'll be pulling for the Scotties. A public school and much nicer fans.

Rooting for Holy Cross, the N. Ky. team. Plus, as a Beechwood fan it would be nice to say for the second year in a row that we beat the 2A champ. Unfortunately, we are having trouble beating the 1A champ.

This game looks to be the Glasgow defense versus the Holy Cross offense. I think the Holy Cross offense has the big boys up front and the offensive skilled players to win that battle. Best of luck to the Indians.

Hey, I did admit to that, just asked a question.

A lot of the discussion in the HC-Somerset thread has been about the subjects of "neutral field", clocks, and unruly fans. Personally, putting that all to rest, I gave myself a little bit of a Kentucky geography lesson regarding how far it was to Bowling Green. Well, what do you think I learned? Glasgow is 30 miles away! We saw that HC was successful playing last night in NKY. The true and loyal Indian supporters will have to be in full force (and loud) at WKU, because I'm sure the Scotties will bring a bunch. Hopefully, a Holy Cross win this far away from home will confirm the lengths that this team, its coaches, and the program have come this year to be successful. In addition, a win will add to the reputation of the overall quality of NKY football.

This will be the best game in the State Finals.

This quote tells me more about your "situation" against HC than anything ese you said through the entire game thread. Holy Cross by 2 scores. From a public school coach and employee.

Typical. Good luck HC.

Have to pick HC b/c they are an NKY team. I have no facts or observations of Glasgow. I have seen HC 3 times this year and was impressed more each time I saw them. The last being against NCC when they just out physicaled the defending champs on thier home field.
