I think the short bus ride to Bowling Green is their biggest advantage

Owensboro Catholic was practically at Bowling Green, and NCC traveled 4 hours in the state title game last year. Look at that result, NCC won 42-0. I think the only advantage Glasgow has is Holy Cross will be extremely nervous, this is an all new stage for them, and I'm interested to see how they handle it. Holy Cross wins by 3+ TD's for their first state title. I have no doubt this will be an emotional game for HC. After achieving all they have this year, there's literally no way can lose. This HC is playing WAY over their talent level. I would speculate at this point that they would beat BW in a rematch. Good luck to both teams, and hopefully it'll be a clean game.

The HC community is so pumped up for this game, the atmosphere on fiday will be electric. I have UK vs. UNC tickets and I'm more excited for the HC game.

Let's not get carried away. From a 69-26 loss to a victory? They haven't improved that much and aren't quite that good. I am glad for their success and am rooting for them to bring a title to N. Ky.

I'd venture to say that this game would be considerably closer than the first one with HC's defense improvement. HC used to get ran over by teams and now they have become experts at stopping the run. I'm not saying that HC would win but I would definetly love to see a rematch.

I agree that the game should be closer. It was a competitive game at half time the first time around. But Holy Cross doesn't have the speed on defense to handle Vocke and Nussbaum and that was pretty well proven the first time around. OK, enough of that. I don't want to thread-jack. Holy Cross is about to win their first title IMO so let's focus on that. Good luck to the Indians.

Who cares!!!!! They have a state game to play against Glasgow!!! HC gave up 69 points.....I wouldn't even bring it up.

I know Glasgow is 14-0. I know they beat Somerset earlier in the year. I know they beat a one loss Murray team in the semi-finals. I know they have a RB with over 2100 yards rushing. I know that they have a TE/DE who is headed to Louisville. I know that they have been in this position before. I know that this is the first time for Holy Cross in the finals. I know Glasgow is only 30 miles away from Bowling Green. I know HC is over 3 hours away. I know a large part of the community at-large is thinking that the 2A game will be the closest and most competitive one of the 6 this weekend. I know that the rest of this post will sound arrogant (it is not meant to be)! With what else I know about what HC brings to the table offensively, defensively, and on special teams, I see HC winning by a significant margin. I guess, I just "know"!

After watching both teams, I would have to say that as long as HC continues to play defense against the run the way that they have in the playoffs they will win. I do not think that Glassgow has a strong enough passing game to keep pace with HC's high powered offense. From what I have seen of Glasgow they are good but NCC is still the best team that HC has played all year. HC wins by 2+ tds
