Myself, I like NKY Football :laugh:. This one is either HC by 2 or 3 tds or the Scotties if it is a tight game.

I completely agree; the rest of the title games will not be much different than the way several first round games went.

 

I think so too. They will be blow-outs won't be much to watch as a regular fan.

HC's offense is too good to be stopped, I see them winning this by two scores.

I am rooting for the NKy team in this one. I have not seen either team play at all this season. Good luck Holy Cross in your first State Finals appearance and to Coach Koz.

I think Glasgow will win this game by way of their defense. Glasgow will embrace the underdog role and tha will be an advantage IMO. Still hard for me to believe Glasgow wasn't ranked in the BGP preseason poll, Glasgow's had a frontrunner team since last years junior loaded team...

What state championships have HC won? I know this is their first chance in football but have they ever won any in another sport, all A in basketball? Im just asking because a championship is always big but if it is your first ever, wow. Good luck to HC from everyone in NKY!

 

Did they win a girls soccer championship when Bray was there? I think they made the finals one or two times under Bray but can't remember if they won or not.

In 1965, HC made to the state finals in boys basketball. In 2000 and 2003, they made it in girls soccer. In all three instances, HC came up short. The 2011 football team is the 4th visit to the state finals in a sport recognized by the KHSAA. Not sanctioned by the KHSAA, Holy Cross has won two state titles in girls slow pitch softball (2005 and 2006) and boys indoor track (don't know the year).

Congrats to Holy Cross coaches, players and fans best of luck this week in the State Championship game I will be pulling for you and can not wait til you bring it back to Nothern Kentucky. Good Luck. JD
