All of NKY will be rooting for HC and if Kyle Fuller plays mistake free like he has been then I seen Holy Cross winning!

Is there any info on Glasgow what kind of offense they run and defense?

After watching both teams this year, it's hard for me to pick. Glasgow is solid in all aspects of the game. Holy Cross passing game the last two weeks as been scary good. HC QB is very accurate and seems to always be throwing to open receivers. Passing game, all aspects of it, is really nice for Holy Cross. If Glasgow doesn't get pressure on QB any better than Somerset or NCC did it could be a tough night for them.

The way HC is playing, they should win. I am hoping Glasgow has improved too. I'll be pulling for the Scotties. A public school and much nicer fans.

Glasgow kept up with Bardstown's speed, and has size and strength to boot. Defense is outstanding. Can throw it when they need to, certainly Bowles is an excellent target.

I seem to recall the Somerset fans saying they have seen speed, until Beal and Walker ran past their fastest kid for td's. HC by 2 TD's

What state championships have HC won? I know this is their first chance in football but have they ever won any in another sport, all A in basketball? Im just asking because a championship is always big but if it is your first ever, wow. Good luck to HC from everyone in NKY!

I have to go with HC. I was told Somerset had 8 turnovers against Glasgow in the regular season game. Glasgow won that 14-6?? If HC keeps coaching the way it is, they win.

Holy Cross needs to put a damper on the run and force Glasgow to throw the ball. If the defense can do that and Holy Cross run their offense they win by a few touchdowns. Go indians.

The Indians are on a mission and I don't see anyone stopping them with the way that they are playing. They are not playing like the team that did in the regular season. I believe that there's definitely potential for this to be a good game, but I think Holy Cross gets their first title.

This will be the best game in the State Finals.

 

I completely agree; the rest of the title games will not be much different than the way several first round games went.

If Fuller throws the ball like he did against Somerset and Newport Catholic Holy Cross will win this by about 3 touchdowns. After watching both teams against Somerset Glasgow's offense will not be very effective against the Indians. Glasgow has a very good defense but with the way Fuller is playing right now it won't matter. I'll take Holy Cross 35-14.

I've got to pull for the Northern Kentucky School. This is huge for the young Holy Cross program. Bruce Kozerski(sp?) is a classy guy, and I know a lot of great people who have gone to HC and played for him. I couldn't be happier that they are representing our area.

I believe those statements were made prior to the HC-NCC game not in the last week. But it is good to know that you took offense to them. Lets me know you believe in your team. It will be the job of Glasgow to stop Holy Cross's offense so we will see if they have trouble with it or not. We will also see if my statement was true or not but I think the the Indians have more to prove than just backing up my statement so I am not worried about that. After this weeks game I will try to remember to give you my oppinion addressing my comment, to let you know if I was right or not, and that will arrogant. But I probably wont do that, but if deserved I will go out of my way to give you and your team kuddos.

The first high school football game that I have seen that was not against a NKY team was HC against Oldham Co, HC 34-7, then HC vs Carroll County, undefeated Owen Co, and Somerset. Somerset has a very good team, the best we have played behind Bechwood and NCC. But I am still left with what I have read on here and heard from friends. Which is that NKY football is better than the rest of KY, outside of Trinity and Mayfield. (Mayfield beating Bechwood gives them instant respect from me, Beechwood was the best football team that I have seen play and I thought there was no way another 1a team could be that good but they proved me wrong.)

So your team has a chance to prove me wrong as well.

I heard a lot of talk that Glasgow and Murray had felling that your game last week was the 2a title game as well. Rather arrogant wasnt it.

Dont mistake a simple view as arrogant and you will better off.
