Who wins?

I'm torn between Coach Lickert and Coach Borchers.

How bout Coach Siple? Is Bracken considered NKY.

Funny how Walton Verona Head Coach Barth never gets a mention in these discussions. Goes 2-8 his first year then goes 8-4 his seconds and wins a playoff game. He then takes this years team and finishes the regular season at 8-2. Not bad for a 4 year varsity program and in his third year as head coach.

Guilty.

Strong performance. I'd still lean towards the other 2.

Isn't one of these guys 3-7?

Correct. If we simply went off of record it would be the Dale Award.

I like to take a total view.

Coach Fowler from Owen County should also be in the hunt. He has totally turned things around in Owen County.

Age old BGP argument as to what constitutes NKY.

Usually, not NKY.

I'd vote for Fowler, but Siple, Borchers and Lickert have all done amazing things this year!

Usually, not NKY.

Neither does Lexington or Louisville. Walton also suffers from this at times. Sometimes in Northern Kentucky, sometimes not.

Agree with the "total view" concept which would point to Borchers or WV's Barth IMO? Good job by Lickert keeping the Camels head's up and earning the #1 seed in a pathetic 6-A district. He certainly out-coached several others in the district.

Barth has done a very good job at WV, but Owen smoked them in a home game for the Bearcats. That eliminates Barth for me for this award.

How long has Owen been playing varsity football?
