theguru Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Conner fell behind 14 to zip early then it was all Cougars!
poon Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Congrats to the Cougars. I heard they actually played pretty well last week and may have had a chance to win if they didn't have some turnovers.
bugatti Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Did not think this score would be this lopsided.
Spartan79 Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Guess HC isn't all that's been advertised.
First Musketeer Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I'm loving HC. Playing up several classes is a tall order where few can succeed. Teams like BW are truely rare.
RomanEmpire Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Not surprised with this outcome. After watching Conner last week, I thought if they made a few tweaks, they would be fine. Last week, made some opening night mistakes and thought they could of won the Boone game. They need to continue to work hard and take a step each and every week. Lots of contributors for the Cougars on this night.
Clyde Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 5 rushing TDs for Drew Barker. Big nite running the ball for Conner.
Clyde Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Game-changing play was the pick and return for a TD by Dylan Huff. Great run. He also did a nice job with downfield blocking and a pretty good job at corner plus he buried a kid on a kickoff return.
Clyde Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Kyle Fuller showed that he is one of the top overall football players as well as overall athletes in NKY. Kid does it all.
hrcarrier Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I thought that Holy Cross would win this game; regardless, really surprised that the Cougars beat them by this much. Congratulations to Conner.
Clyde Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Second week in a row where the Conner D performed well. HC only had one TD drive tonite of more than 10 yards. Barker's first pass was picked and returned to about the 10. HC then scored. HC later lined up for a FG but the snap was high. Conner defenders went for the ball vut Fuller picked it up and threw to a wide open receiver. Defense throttled HC from there until a 4th qtr TD drive.

Kid gave up football and decided to come back for his senior season. Will help this team a lot as the season goes on.
Clyde Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Cody Huff. Kid gave up football and decided to come back for his senior season. Will help this team a lot as the season goes on. Thanks. I knew his name was Cody. No clue where I got Dylan.
DRKARK Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Thanks. I knew his name was Cody. No clue where I got Dylan. There is a Dylan Huff that plays for Bellevue! Congrats to Conner on a great win!
