Why does he have to be objective?

This one surprised me. I thought Holy Cross had stepped it up another notch this year and expected them to get the win. Congrats to the Cougars. Conner is going to get better every week, more so than other teams. They are young with a younger QB. Barker is already strong running the ball and will get better passing it.

Barker was 9 of 22 for 83 yards, 1 INT, and no TDs. However, he rushed 30 times for a net 159 yards and 5 TDs. It would have been even more rushing yards, but in high school football, sacks count against rushing totals.

That is correct. Holy Cross had two INTs and a fumble on a kickoff return.

Holy Cross has stepped it up this year but they will run into trouble against teams that dont have to play both sides of the ball. Conners fresh legs and the heat wore to many kids out. They will win there share.

I think this was a step it up game for Holy Cross and they didn't pass the test. Now, I see this team a lot like the last couple of years. A very solid team that will be a tough out in the 2A playoffs but not quite good enough to challenge NCC or the top level 2A teams. Nothing wrong with that. They are good. But I was starting to think they may be better than good this year.
