About to kick off. NCC receiving

Most people around the team think this is the most talented team they have put on the field. More offensive players with good skills than any other year, but they fell the improved defense is what will push them over the hump. NCC is the hump. Last night was very sloppy offense but I would not look for that to happen often. Kids cramping up changed some of they game plan I am sure. Koz will get that fixed. I see the HC vs NCC game being a battle.

Offensine was sloppy for both, but both played very good defense. Holy Cross was moving the ball at times but could not hold on to it. 2 fumbles by recievers trying to get extra yards. HC gave up 80 yards on first drive. Negative 30 the rest of the game. Cant complain about defense like that.

Holy Cross's def stepped up big when the off had trouble holdin on to the ball. Good winn for HC

Cooper 10 Holy Cross 6. Holy Cross has 4 turnovers keeping them from scoring. HC defense is holding Cooper to minimal yards other than a big run a few pkays into the game.

I know it 2011. I was asking the what they have that tells you they are better than HC already this year.

This maybe the game that changes some minds about the indians. They are imoressive, and maybe Cooper with stay close enough so they can pkay a whole game. Indians live on big pkays and I believe Coopet is prime pickins to get a lot of them.

It is an advantage but the scholarships dont just go to athelets.

Residence has changed. It happens everywhere. Kids and there parents want the best option they can get.

Also to add, HC starting def gave up minimal yards to Scott and Dayton. Yes weaker teams but HC still got the job done in impressive fashion.

The score has to tell some kind of story. HC put 56 on Scott in a scrimage, I know. It would have been more. HC put up 37 vs Dayton in the first qtr, then they started putting in back-ups. That is a lot of offense against anyone. Can Cooper defense slow down that much offense? I dont think they can but that is why they play the game.

Pouncy has not set foot on the practice field as of today. I have heard that it is all but approved, then once approved 10 days of practice before he can play at any level. Just what I heard.

Holy Cross has many tools on offense, including speed. They will score plenty. The defense has done well but not been challenged. It has to prove it can keep the points off the board. I see Holy Cross winning by at least two scores.

I agree with Your Bellevue opinion but Holy Cross will suprise you. The next few weeks will tell more on Holy Cross. To put much stock in this poll after one week is crazy. Give it three and it will look better.

It would suprise me if SK goes .500 on those top 10. SK has a lot of issues to address and the line can not block everyone.

Can Holy Cross put up big numbers again?

Holy Cross has some weapons. Any thoughts on the job they did or was it all Daytons coaching change that won the game in this fashion?

Thanks. I am new to high school football due to my sons activity with it. A lot of people around the team think they are a better team this year than last. I am not sure if this is just their enthusiasm or honest opinion so I threw this out to gauge the waters. Thanks again.
