Just Win
For Cooper to establish themselves they need this win. I see Holy Cross getting the win with their speed being the biggest factor.
JagParent
Don't under estimate Cooper . Borchers will make some changes this week and hopefully will make it a good game . Good Luck Jags
StraightShooter
Should be close. If not, it will be a happy night in Unión.
fmkj
Holy Cross has many tools on offense, including speed. They will score plenty. The defense has done well but not been challenged. It has to prove it can keep the points off the board. I see Holy Cross winning by at least two scores.

It has to prove it can keep the points off the board. I see Holy Cross winning by at least two scores. No offense but it has proven that against Dayton and Scott. Cooper so far has played competitvely with both NCC and Ryle (the score doesn't tell the whole story). Should be a good game though.
First Musketeer
This could be a great game. I'm thinking its decided by 10 or less, with a slight nod toward the Indians.
fmkj
The score has to tell some kind of story. HC put 56 on Scott in a scrimage, I know. It would have been more. HC put up 37 vs Dayton in the first qtr, then they started putting in back-ups. That is a lot of offense against anyone. Can Cooper defense slow down that much offense? I dont think they can but that is why they play the game.
fmkj
Also to add, HC starting def gave up minimal yards to Scott and Dayton. Yes weaker teams but HC still got the job done in impressive fashion.
DRKARK
Based on what i'm hearing this coud be an interesting game but my gut is telling me HC wins by 10..
hja1224
Cooper's defense is better than the Ryle score indicates. Ryle didn't have anything in the first quarter. Elliott breaks one with .9 seconds left in the half. He then returns the opening kick-off in the third quarter. It went down hill some from there. Beal is very good but he is no Elliott, yet anyway. I saw him play through the Pee Wee league and he is a very nice back. Cooper held NCC to 21 through 3 quarters in a scrimmage, that was played like a real game, and NCC hung 42 last week on Dixie so I think NCC is better than most thought they would be. I think this game is decided one way or another by less than 10 and I think Cooper has a slight edge. I haven't seen HC play but Scott and Dayton, unless they are much improved over the last two years, wouldn't factor in my opinion on how good HC is. If Cooper wants to be taken seriously, they shouldn't lose this game, IMO.
aptr
This should be a good game. Cooper does have a great defensive line and some talented kids behind them. Holy Cross has some of the better skill players in Northern Kentucky. I think this game is decided by who makes the fewer mistakes. Since Holy Cross has added some good coaches to their staff and have many seniors playing on both sides of the ball, I look for them to make the fewer mistakes. I give the edge to Holy Cross in this one
