I'm taking Lloyd by a bunch, even though we are not healthy..

I think its time that some Lloyd fans/players stop using the fact that they are unhealthy, hurt, sick, etc as an excuse. This is the 3-4 week in a row that I have read in the Lloyd posts using injuries and other items as excuses. At some point you got to move on and go with what you got and play that game.

We need a win and I think this Friday we get back on track heading into NCC game. The kids on the field are playing hard, we will have almost everyone back in a week or two, they have to start playing better up front! Juggs by a at least 2 TDs this week! GO JUGGS!

I think you take 4 starters away from any team and it is worth mentioning, especially 3 that play both ways! There isn't one team in NKY that wouldn't feel the effects of such circumstances!

Its not a excuse! Its a fact! Lloyd does play with what they have and like neverwrong stated 3 of the 4 that are out play both ways.

Im saying that its getting old, move on already and stop using the same excuses. I think by now everyone knows Lloyd has some injuries, doesnt have to be announced before every game and after every game they play. I think that the injuries are continuously mentioned for one reason, if Lloyd wins then they over-achieved, if they lose, then its ok because they were hurt. I just think its being over-used and dwelled upon too much as a crutch for their performances.

This thread was started to make a pick and why your pick would or would not win! You have yet to do so! Your have your opinion and stated it. So please make a pick and if you are tired of reading what the Lloyd faithful have to say, then find another thread!

They were a bit overmatched against HC and will be against NCC. With the mentioned injuries and , imo, an arrogant head coach that will hinder them in a close game. I think one of the coordinators is also suspended for his actions towards players. Coach Lucas may have struggled the last couple of years, but he never acted nor had any of his coaches act in the unprofessional way this current staff is right now. I wish the kids Good Luck down the stretch because they do have some really nice players, but this coaching staff has alot to learn, in my opinion, if Lloyd is ever to get back to the tradition and good teams they once had.

Sounds like aptr has been to a few Lloyd games! I agree with almost everything you said except I believe a good coach was thrown under the bus but he is back this week! I still feel like we are talented enough to win this week, Lloyd by 2 TDs

I do not know the entire story of what happened with the suspended coach but I do disagree with some of their actions to the players and discipline..I just hope they stay focused on the game and the kids and move forward. I am sticking with what I said early, Lloyd wins this one!
