HC coaches have to be feeling good with this win. I have never seen the team miss so manny close shots and still pull out the win at the end. As said by a lot for a while, the free throws are going to catch up with them at some point. Great job boys.

Congrats to HC. They are definitely one of the favorites to win the 9th. However, winning the district is very important because we all know that one team capable of winning the region does not get to advance. The top seed is huge with no offense intended to the Beechies. Great work by the Crossers!

Rick Broering of NKYSportsblog.com says NKU was there again tonight to watch Tony Campbell and that X was there earlier this week.

NKY maybe but Xavier? That is quite a jump. I don't doubt Rick but I need to see the young man play before I can believe the Muskies are interested in a 6'8 HS big man. His stats are very impressive thus far though.

Only Griffin McKenzie (6'-9"), Jeff Robinson (6'-9") and Kenny Frease (7'-0) are taller than Campbell on the entire Xavier roster. Plus the kid makes three's! I think they would be interested.

Plus, he's got range. Not a whole lot of 6'8'' dudes shot the three ball like he does. There's a spot for guys like that.

I think they were there to get an early look at NewCath's Drew McDonald. In all seriousness Tony Campbell is a talent, can shoot lights out from three and can block shots. However has anyone noticed, Campbell is always the last person down the court, needs to get a little "hitch in his getty up".
