I think they were there to get an early look at NewCath's Drew McDonald. In all seriousness Tony Campbell is a talent, can shoot lights out from three and can block shots. However has anyone noticed, Campbell is always the last person down the court, needs to get a little "hitch in his getty up".

In fairness, he doesn't run very fast and he's usually the one delivering the outlet pass so that HC can run. I would expect him to be the last one down.

NKY maybe but Xavier? That is quite a jump. I don't doubt Rick but I need to see the young man play before I can believe the Muskies are interested in a 6'8 HS big man. His stats are very impressive thus far though.

I've heard a lot of D1 schools are beginning to notice him.

Anybody if they have two ounces of sense should be noticing these stat lines he is putting up. He has to be averaging 24 pts a game and 14 rebounds.

Pretty sure this kid has grown 6-7 inches in the last year, and was a lifetime guard; thus the decent handles and long range shot. If so, and having a kid that had a similar growth spurt; those kids spend a year or so "finding their feet", but once the rest of their body catches up, they're fine and their speed & fluidity come back. Young man has a ton of upside!!

Excellent point, was not aware of his sudden growth spurt, that would explain things. Thx. Trust me I would love to have this kid on my team any day.

After seeing the Campbell kid play, I think he may be the best big man to come out of the 9th in years. He is still a little unpolished, but has a great upside for a legit D1 team.

Nobody ever wants a hitch in their "getty up", as that means you're nursing an ailment of some sort. So he sure doesn't need that.

Campbell's the last player down the floor offensively for HC partially by circumstance, and partially by design. He isn't going to out run anyone anyway, so way not let him trail in the early offense and have a chance to be left unguarded at the top of the key? He's hit an awful lot of three's from there as the trail.

And he trails because of his size to help bring the ball up the floor. With his size he is a huge asset in breaking the press because he can see and pass over the defense. Definitely a D1 talent IMO. Congrats to him and Holy Cross on a great tournament.
