I find it interesting reading threads like this. Coaching at a school like I do, I wake up each morning hoping that the changes we have made over the first 4 years are in place. We have spent a lot of time working on the "culture change" at my school. Even with massive changes, I would do anything to show up and have even a small portion of the football culture that HHS and others have. I have used both HHS and Cov Cath as examples for our kids to see what a football culture looks like. Beating HHS, even on a down year, was a springboard for our program. We gained more from that game than a district championship would have provided. With that said, HHS will return itself to the high level of play it has had in the past, because there is a culture. With all of the talent we have in our program, it will continue to be a good one year, average the next until we reach that level of culture. Culture is everything, it pushes programs to the level of being a year in and year out power. I would love to see post about being the top dog, or why you were not post in regards to my program. This post exist because there is a culture at HHS. When was the last time you read a post about the culture needed to be improved at my school? you wont, because I am busy building it now. God bless HHS, they have kids, families and community that care enough about the program. Xs and Os, Jimmies and Joes, maybe. But from where I sit, the culture is amazing and the last thing I would worry about.

His family did not relocate to Louisville. He is staying at Western Hills.

Have they started interviewing? How far along in the process are they. Havent heard much about this.

This will not happen. I can promise you it will not. Wandale will graduate from Western Hills. He is a great kid and would be successful wherever he was. Nice thread though.

As much as I enjoy rooting for Highlands, I also am a fan of coach Reed and his team. They are very disciplined and have enough balance on their offense to keep a team guessing. I think the Birds fans may find out quickly that SO is very good and can control a game with their run. I think it will be a great game, but the Dragons will win by 10 or more. Good luck to both teams, they are both well deserving of a win.

I have found myself rooting for two teams. Collins, who our kids have developed a great relationship through summer 7v7 and I really enjoy their staff. Highlands, who’s parents decided to feed our team after the Cov Cath game last year one week after we beat them. That act made an impact on our kids and myself as well. So, Collins and Highlands.

Agree, could be closer than some may think

It is good to see Fern Creek back in the top 10. I think they were looked over because of their tough schedule and a few losses. You can never count them out. They can be a dangerous team and have had some recent playoff successes.

There is no question that the region 1 and 2 are full of tough teams. I am glad, as a coach we are not on that side of the bracket for sure. I would love to watch some of thise matchups as well

Terez was in the game this week for a couple or reps and will play a few more this week. He will slowly be introduced back to action. We are more concerned he heals properly and is able to play at the next level for WKU. Our team is getting better every week and this will make for a good game Friday for North Hardins Sr. night

We expect this to be a good game. Kenny Walker has done a great job with his team and they will be ready for this game. Super proud of coach Walker and what he is doing this year. Atherton has several offensive threats and will keep it close.

This will be a great game to watch. After playing both teams, I can say that Fern Creek will prevail fairly easily. Southern is a good team but FC will be to much. FC 30 SHS 10

Super proud of our kids. Being down 20 late in 3rd quarter, they showed a lot of fight. It was good for our program. It is also exciting to know that Traynor will return in the next few days.

Yes, we get him back on the 20th. We also just got our talented So. RB on the field. He is 40/435 5 tds in last 3 games. This will be a good game.
