Who wins this matchup? Owensboro Catholic comes in at 8-1 on the season. Apollo comes in at 3-6 on the season.

OCath is in need of a tough game going into playoffs and I think that's exactly what Apollo will bring. Being a city rival, I expect this to be a great game.

Potential to be a very good game. Apollo has played a lot better as of late. If their QB doesn't get hurt against Henderson I think they would have won that game on the road. They just seem to have some very costly turnovers against Daviess County or they would have blown them out. Intriguing part of this game, Harold Hogg verses his former team. Hogg has put up huge numbers this year and is a very good back. Can you imagine how good OC's offense would be if Hogg hadn't transferred?

Apollo is a talented offensive team. Hogg is the real deal. I think Ocath's defense is somewhat better and they are a top tier offensive squad as well and know how to win close games.

 

Ocath 56-49. This is also my prediction for the first basketball game between the two teams.

I assume Catholic has a good offense. But anybody would against the 8 wins that that they have. The one good team on their schedule they put up 7. IMO they are an overrated team. But they will beat Apollo
