  1. The big receiver is a senior as well and having a great year also. I think he was 4th or 5th on the khsaa stat leaders. He has around 720 yards rec. In 6 games. They also have a 450 yard rec. That is a sophomore.
  2. That is not Bolin on sideline. Bolin has knee injury. left for MRI.
  3. Hawkins was 12/22 182 yards 2td's and several yards rushing. He has some darn good receivers on that team. Frankfort was slow to.get going, but the flood gates opened in 2 nd quarter
  4. I am not sure about all that. He should have a good throwing night with some darn good receivers. He is one lucky kid to have Jackson, Washington, Scott, Robinson, Wingfield and McGee to throw to. They are the ones making it happen for him
  5. There are some great QB's in this state. It is great to see such a diverse group of kids. Some even remind others of past great QB's. It really helps when you have great recievers like Aaron Jackson and Jalen Washington at Frankfort High. They can make them all look good. Chris Hawkins 6'1.5" 250 lbs QB/DL 23-40 443yds 4td's 1 rushing. Here is a look at him from the Rockcastle game Chris Hawkins - Highlight Videos, Schedule & Roster - Hudl
  6. Frankfort may prove to be more than Green Co. expects. Green seems to be talented at spots but ultimately, the skill kids for Frankfort will have their way. Frankfort's team defensive speed will create problems with the option.
  7. Lex. Cath and Franklin Co. Looked very good. Lexington Catholic only lost the one game to Frankfort and they did beat Frankfort 19-18 in the semi-finals. As for Hawkins, he is not new to the QB spot. He does however realize that it is not his position at the next level. Schools are recruiting him as a 3 technique, TE and short yardage fullback. He is strong and fairly versatile. He will make a decent player on a 1-AA team like Eastern, Murray, Indiana State etc.. Here is his highlight tape, you will see that he plays several positions.
  8. Well..... I read these post on a weekly basis and never have responded because it seems like everyone has it figured out. I will say that no one questions how good Beechwood or Mayfield may be year in and year out. But...... What in the world does having 1A or 2A talent mean? I could understand if you said 1A-2A numbers, but talent. Does this mean there are only good players in 3A-6A? i will submit to a team having more talent than another, and certainly a 6a has the opportunity at having more talented players. Most of these 1A and 2a teams have kids that not only could play on a 6A team, but could fine their way on to a D2,D1AA or D1 roster. The only real difference i see is the law of averages would say that a 6A team with more numbers has a better chance of having one of these kids. Ultimately, a great program is a great program at whatever level, you will find the better 1a schools winning every year against teams from higher classes. But do not overlook Frankfort for the next 2 or 3 years, because they are loaded with talent, however young, and they may win more than people think possible. I know I read about how Bellevue could name their score, and how they would win easily as well. In the end, none of us know what a bunch os 15-19 year olds can do on a given Friday night. Especially when things are starting to click
  9. Frankfort by 3 TD's. They have got it rolling now.
  10. Defense was the difference tonight. Frankfort's speed on defense was too much for Sheldon Clark.
  11. Frankfort by 14 over Rockcastle Co. Speed will ultimately be the difference along with a fairly decent defense.
