Conner wins by at least 2 scores. Conner's offense is on fire and Franklin county although undefeated has given up a lot of points to avg teams, they can't afford to do that with a high powered offense like Conner.

Nasty weather had a lot to do with that one.. Unless for some reason Franklin Co's field is a swamp on friday night, I don't see either team scoring less than 40 pts..

Haha, it's funny you said that. Watching the USC Oregon game I thought just that.

Are you asking about Timmons? He plays WR/Slot reciever.. To my knowladge no, that is not true.. I believe he has interest in going there, but they have not made an offer. He does have several offers, as does their QB. 4 D1 recruits that will be playing in the same game Friday night, 2 on each team.

Any idea where Fogle is thinking on going? Is he wanting to play football or baseball at the next level because imo he can do either or both.

 

He's so much fun to watch and what is the best part of his game is he doesn't get the 20+ carries a game like other teams would do with an athlete like that, but the caarries or passes he does get he always seems to break at least a couple for huge gains and scores.

Not positive on this answer.. All I know is that he has options. And yes, I agree he is fun to watch. His 10-12 touches a game generally are all the Cougars need due to the fact that 2 or 3 of them go for big gains/scores. Added to the fact that Barker is normally good for 3 or 4 TD's himself. I personally enjoy watching him play free safety and or corner, (well anytime he's on the field really). His closing speed is nasty, opposing QB's think their guy is open, and out of nowhere comes #22 and he either picks it, or knocks it down, definition of a ball hawk. He did it twice in the Cooper game earlier this year. But IMO the one he had against Cov Cath last week was the best. Came out of thin air and dove to make the INT. If it was on a tv screen he would have came from out of the picture. Impressive kid.

I think that may be the biggest misconception of Fogle by those who haven't had the pleasure to watch him play in person.

 

They would think with all the talk about him that he's a player who gets about 20 carries a game and is the target of Barker about half a dozen times a game, but it couldn't be further from the truth. I think he may only carry the ball on average less than 15 rushes a game. When someone looks at his stats (rushing yards or recieving yards) they wouldn't think twice about him, then they see the # of TD's rushing and recieving and realize how many huge runs etc. he has for scores. He in my opinion and i've said it all year is the best all around player in the area.
