So proud of my panthers. Came out flat the first Quarter then scored 18 points in second quarter to take lead at half time. In in first half LCA lost #21 to injury seemed to take the wind out of LCA. I think our oline dominated the line. Big night running the football.

 

As for sending a message I am not for sure about that, Panthers have a lot to work on this open week. Need to continue to build depth and mature in places. Special teams have to improve. Young guys still trying understand defense. On offense trying to learn to be a balanced team.

 

Real season starts in 2 weeks.

Would leave me wondering too if Frankfort had to go thru 5 and 6A schools but being an A school they do not. Frankfort has the speed and athleticism to match up with anyone on the outside but Bigger schools have Bigger folks in the trenches.

Hawkins was 12/22 182 yards 2td's and several yards rushing. He has some darn good receivers on that team. Frankfort was slow to.get going, but the flood gates opened in 2 nd quarter

There won't be a team from NKY Class A taking them lightly.

Look out. I have been saying all year that Frankfort is a contender and they sure proved it tonight. If they can hang a loss like that on LCA, they are capable of beating anyone in 1A.
